Time was the essence of the contract that we signed in January 2013.
We were told three weeks, then three months passed, then another
three....during this period the apartment was never liveable despite the
contractor earlier promise to consider the grounds as lived in... Off
limits area was desecrated due to improper perimeter protection.
Many calls by telephone and emails became necessary to move the process forward.
Many cost overuns occured , some clearly dubious but I learned here to be an hostage of Carrickmore .
Many clear mistakes were pointed out ( but before some were remediated, rude
arguments were made by bullying foreman. in some instances the fixtures
( refrigerator, dishwasher) had to be exchanged to accomodate the
problems so created by either architect or contractor. Mismatched
moldings in the kitchen and poor paint job in bathroom( no preparation) had to be accepted.
Material used in the kitchen cabinetry are of standart quality and a known
national outlet could have provided the same -for much less. Forget
about asking for formaldehyde compliance here !
Given the situation, we had to abandon the need  for further cabinet making ( custom shelving throughout the LR), we will shop somewhere else.
So indeed I feel betrayed by Carrickmore web site's , a mouthfull of what one wants to
hear... quality, service, cost but not delivered. 
Who needs such aggravation ?
