The provider: * never filed a building permit for anything. *installed plumbing backwards. I had to hire another plumber to come and fix the plumbing for $270.00 *left the job for a week at a time *installed one pendant light instead of two, the second was later found broken in the basement.. The one installed was left so low, the cabinet would have hit it if we left it that way. *Did not seal the tile. *Left a MAJOR light switch to the basement out of the wall/ back splash. I had to hire an electrician to install a new switch for $240.00 *did not finish painting the adjacent laundry room. *NEVER LEVELED THE FLOOR! The floor is slanted and if anything spills it all runs under the appliances. * failed to hook up the microwave to the power. *Brought used paint from his house and used it and charged us as new. * Incomplete staining of the three wood doors, never sealed them. They look unfinished. * did not finish installing trim around baseboards. * did not finish painting ceiling in hallway One of the employees took a piece of my railing off my stairs "home" to strip and sand and it was never brought back. I have tried calling the person and get no response. When I asked for receipts, the owner threw a fit and did not supply me with one receipt or invoice. My biggest mistake was not demanding an estimate in writing and TRUSTING the owner, Nick. I forked out money for a job that was never finished, incomplete and messy. Not only do I feel I overpaid for this job, I had to hire other contractors to fix it. I will not refer this company to anyone. And let me be clear that I purchased all of the lights, ceiling tiles, wall paint (not ceiling paint- he brought that from home), tile, and cabinets. It should have been a job where they just did what they were supposed to do. I am still left with a mess and I have no money to fix anything else. It is so disappointing that this "professional" took advantage of me or anyone else. Be warned. Do not hire them!
