After investing in a new deck I hired Jeff Rozenkranz of Jeff's Painting to stain and seal the deck. Immediately it was obvious the application was uneven and sloppy. Jeff guarantees satisfaction and agreed the job was poor. He promised to redo the job which he agreed was not done correctly. When it came time to follow through with his promise he did not answer the phone or respond to messages. I would not recommend him or ever use him in the future.

I was contacted by (members name removed) to give her an estimate to stain her new deck, and replace her windows. From the very beginning, she was very price conscious. I was very clear, that using a semi-transparent stain on a new deck may not look even, particularly with the color she chose. She agreed for us to do the job and it was completed. I do not receive a final payment until the customer is satisfied. Therefore, when (members name removed) paid in full, it is assumed she was satisfied. We also spent many hours measuring windows, bringing a Pella rep to her house and preparing to do the window work. After the windows were delivered, she did not accept our price and had someone else put the windows in. We never asked for compensation for our time. Her deck is a relatively small deck and if she paid someone (I would like to know what contractor she had) $1850 to restain her deck, she should be filing a complaint for overpaying. A final not to other contractors, be wary when doing work for (members name removed)
