Had the Tonneau Hard folding cover put on last week - perfect ! Had the Fender Flares added yesterday - Perfect Will have the Brush Guard added this coming week and it should go as smooth as the others. J&R is the one stop shop that will take care of your needs and treat you like a person, not a number like others do. Kind, Considerate and Very Professional without a doubt. Worked with Dana, Ken and Jason. These gentlemen listen, very open and honest, never pushing any product. Prices are great.

They have done trucks, boats, airplanes - they have done everything. They have a large staff. Jason is the one who usually takes care of us. He goes out of his way, and has a great sense of humor. If you have a bad day, go in and see Jason, and he makes your day - that's just how he is! I send everyone there. Their prices are very reasonable. The owner's name is Todd.

I called to inquire about service for my remote car starter that didn't work. I was told that Jand R didn't service that particular brand even though they were listed on the manufacturer's website. Since I didn't find anyone to fix the starter, I asked what it would cost to have a new one put on. The female that I spoke to told me it would be $200 and I would have to wait over a week to have it done as well as put down a deposit. The price was the same as a larger business but I always try to deal with a small business to help them keep going. When I called back after failing to find someone to service the broken starter, I spoke to a gentleman who told me there would probably be an additional charge to take out the old system and repair what may have been done during it's installation. He was vague about the charge since it depended on what they found. On the morning of the appointment, a gentleman called and ,for the first time, indicated that he needed a valet key for the installation but if we couldn't find it, it was probably in the car. We took the car in and drove 30 minutes home. We then received another call from Jand R saying that in fact the key was not in the car and if we didn't have it, it would cost us another $50. All of this information, given to us in bits and pieces, should have been given to us during our additional call. The additional costs upset me and I remarked to my husband that it sounded like a ,"bait and switch," deal,. We are senior citizens and are constantly told to beware of scams and to be alert. Up to this point, the gentleman that I spoke to was very polite and pleasant even though I was getting upset with the extra costs. We said we would look for the key and ended the conversation. Not 5 minutes later, the manager called and his anger was evident. He berated me as well as the product that was being replaced and told me I could come down there (30 minute drive) and he would gladly refund the deposit that I had placed so long before. I told him to install the system as contracted and that we had found the valet key. I have never in my life been spoken to so rudely by a merchant. I guess to his mind, I shouldn't have been in the least upset with a 50% increase in the quoted price nor should I have been critical with the withholding of possible extra costs. I know that the first person to whom I spoke had full knowledge that I needed a replacement or repair for my broken system and I should have been advised of possible extra costs and that the valet key was needed on the initial contact. But what did or did not happen on the initial call is not the point. No customer should be treated with such disrespect and being treated in such a violent manner certainly had an adverse effect on me.
