Clark's Sharper Image

They were very professional and did a great job

Clark's Sharper Image is a spin off from Lawnworks Landscape (http://www.lawnworksinc.…) which is their yard and lawn service arm. Dan is terrific, he came promptly at the appointed time to give me an estimate for a fall-clean up (I mow the yard myself but am terrible at it). It took a little bit of time to actually schedule the service but in retrospect that was fine because the trees still needed to give up all their leaves.
I have a large, unruly yard, probably about 2 acres in all, with lots of nooks and crannies and fenced in areas. Not one of those vast lawns where you can blow through with a riding mower. Also, it is kind of hilly and has weird drainage issues which result in some muddy spots in the lawn.
Dan rolled in with a big crew - fix or six guys in all - and did the whole shebang. Leaves, pine needles: gone; lawn mowed and edged to perfection; and generally looking in good shape for the coming winter. They had a surprisingly light touch given that it had just rained and I usually end up with big streaks of mud everywhere when I try to do the mowing myself after a rain. Not so w/ Clark's Sharper Image, everything was tidy and terrific. They even hauled all the pine and leaves out to the woods around the property.
The total bill was $375, which I consider very reasonable for a large, gnarly job that took the better part of the day. I would highly recommend them if you are like me and can handle the week-to-week lawn care but need occasional help to do the heavy lifting for the yard.
