Tony recommended the right tile for our job in a professional manner with the personal touch.  There was no pressure tactics to buy with the goal on making us happy with the purchase and showing a sincere appreciation for our patronage! Tony works very closely with Scott {Pro Tile installation} in coordinating the installation in a timely manner.

Tony, the owner, listened to what we wanted to accomplish and suggested some tile on which he was running a close out sale. After looking at it, we agreed that it would be great in our application. Tony then identified the type of mortar needed to install the tile (thinset mortar) and recommended a grout material that matched the tile very well. We later found out that the selection of grout not only was the right color, but was of high quality as it set up very quickly after installation and let us walk on it 4 hours later. Tony suggested using his favorite installer, Scott Calloway of Pro-Tile. We agreed and Tony arranged for Scott call to set up an appointment so he could provide an estimate.
The proof of the pudding is in the tasting, and the taste was just great! The tile and grout looked wonderful in our home and the work Scott did was perfect (see my review of Pro-Tile).
Tony's advice and counsel was spot on for the tile, grout and for using Scott to do the work. I would unhesitatingly use The Binghamton Floor Store again.

We needed help in choosing the carpet that would hold up and in choosing a color that would hold up to both and he was great with that. He recommended something that was not necessarily the two colors but he found one that was a little bit different even though it was one color. It was guaranteed kind of like the steam master carpet, it seemed to me that we were not paying for the name steam master instead it was incomparable with them. He didn't push the highest price in them, he worked with us in what we needed, he was able to figure out what exactly it would be and if I could quite decide on the color, he let me bring home to see samples and to keep them for a while. And he called us along the way and he let someone install carpets through him. And just like he had picked the person to do the tile, he picked his own person to do the installation and we loved that person.

Excellent. The tile installer picked up the materials, installed them quickly and the bathroom looks great. This is the second time we have used The Floor Store. The first was our downstairs bathroom, which I did myself. Tony's help and advice was so helpful, and the results were so good, that we had no hesitation using them again when we gutted the upstairs bathroom and wanted to seriously upgrade it. His advice was very helpful, and the whole experience, though not inexpensive, was very postiive. I would have no hesitation recommending this company.
