They got here fast, had good customer service, and we heard good things about them from a neighbor.

EXCELLENT SERVICE, WORK, & COMLETION OF PROJECT

I hired this company to remove a cupboard and install a dishwasher in its place right next to the sink. He smashed up my cherry cabinet that I wanted to move to a different location and charged me $1800 for two hours of work. He did not even install the electric and now I have to pay someone to reconstruct a cabinet to match my current ones and pay an electrician. Outrageously expensive and incompetent.

The master of the dishonest upsell! I have had 4 interactions with this company and the most recent left me shaking with anger. At least the first 3 times they sent someone out they were friendly and lied through their teeth. Jeff Sxxxxxx was nasty, aggressive, and unprofessional. He took everything personal and would not repair a part broken by a previous employee of auchinachie because how is that fair to me? He would not honor the warranty I was promised because apparently the previous plumber had been lying about that. He made me feel unsafe, taken advantage of and like a fool for ever trusting them. Every other interaction has been one of constantly adding money to the bill with no warning and so they were kind. When I finally asked them to honor their commitments, I was told he was there to help me but was not going to help if I had an attitude about it.

The folks who came were great and got the job done in a professional manner. The cost was WAY higher than we expected, especially considering we got their most affordable “packages.”

It has been hard to find companies to do work in Oneonta. We paid for someone from Auchinachie to drive from Binghamton. They were able to do the work promptly. Todd was great. He was thorough, knowledgeable, and he got the job done.

These guys were fantastic. Told me about the problems I already new I had (where others tried to BS me) and offered reasonable solutions (where others tried to really upsell me). I highly recommend Auchinachie!!

Workman did an excellent job, arrived timely & was pleasant and clear about what he could and could not do. Contacted to repair or replace kitchen faucet and possibly replace bath faucet. He was unable to repair kitchen faucet & had no replacement of the same type (single handle, pull out). He did a great job with the bath faucet. However, the price tag of nearly $900 seemed high to me (single handle chrome faucet was less than $300 so labor of less than an hour was $600?). Excellent provider if cost is not a concern.

Nothing but praise. The timeline was exactly as described. The responsiveness and installation was perfect, and the adjustments resulted in a lower cost with better performance. I wish I needed another system!
