Great chimney sweeps! After dealing with a pretty abysmalgroup of sweepers who never actually managed to sweep my chimney, I decided to give True Blue Construction a try. First, I noticed how great they are with communication.   When inclement weather was forecasted for the day of our sweep, someone from them called me and confirmed that they expected to still make the appointment. despite the weather and would continue to stay in touch if that changed. I really appreciated that level of communication and commitment to getting my chimney cleaned.

The sweepers were friendly and happy to explain what they were doing as they went along. They not only swept the chimney but also pointed out potential trouble sources yet didn't pressure us to buy or do anything. We also got to see before and after pictures of inside our chimney. All the work was done inside the house using tools that went up the chimney rather than outside from the roof down. This was great as it meant less liability for both the sweeps and me with no one having to climb up on the precarious roof. Some of the cheaper chimney sweeps in the area don't offer this, I know for sure. So might be something to ask about if you go with someone else.

But don't go with someone else. These are the chimney sweeps you want to call if you want reliable service.

We recently had a full roof replacement and I must admit that the whole True Blue team from ownership through their professional installers were excellent. There was never a time that I felt that I wasn't their priority in providing quality service and workmanship. Our 65 year old home presented some unique challenges and the whole True Blue team were meticulous in preserving the look and feel of our style of home. We still are getting complements from friends and neighbors about our new roof. I certainly would recommend True Blue for the services that they provide. Three times my dad kept getting his deck with a roof rebuilt because after a few heavy snowstorms the deck roof collapsed. I was living in South Carolina during those years but I just moved back to NY when the deck roof fell down again after a 2 foot snowstorm.

I heard good things about Ed (True Blue) but never used them before. I told my dad this time we are getting the deck rebuilt by professionals and not these fly by night companies.

I called a few places and Ed was, to me, the most impressive. Since I had a neighbor already recommending him I went with True Blue.

They did a great job and knowing construction myself I know this deck will never fall down...ever again.
