 + -1 moreI got them on Angie's List. It was Excellent. We couldn't be happier with the guy- he came out the minute we called. He was very personable, professional, and did an excellent job.
Description of Work: For computer services I used Tom's Computer Online.com. We had a flood in the basement so we had to move our computers upstairs -he did that and when we finished the basement, he came and put it back down in the basement and reconnected everything.

 + -1 moreTom was in all ways courteous and professional. He arrived at his appointed time, quickly and efficiently resolved the problem, and offered excellent advice.
Description of Work: Tom's Computer performed emergency repair service on a desktop computer in my home. He came at his appointed time, well prepared to deal with a worst-case-scenario although in this case, a memory problem was easily resolved by only re-seating the modules. I am pleased both with Tom's professional manner and proficient work and will be returning to him for any future computer issues.

 + -1 moreMy experiance was great. I will be calling Tom back in about a year to "clean up" my laptop and keep it running at top efficiency. I rely on my computer to run my small business using QuickBooks, keep my personal files and pictures. I am now using the laptop to download and view movies from Netflex, which I couldn't do before and the image and speeds are superb! Tom also responded promptly with answers to my questions via e-mail and by phone, even in the evening and on weekends. He worked at the problems until they were all fixed.
Description of Work: Tom responded promptly and was punctual for the agreed appointment time. He went right to work to clean a full C drive and evaluate and identified problems that were causing my laptop to run slowly.We then set up a second appointment to fix the problems. Tom installed a new external hard drive and set up the backup program to backup to that drive, thus freeing several hundred GBs of space on my lap top which is now running much more efficently. He also suggested I upgrade my old wireless modem, which I did and I am now running on the internet literally 4X faster. He also installed new anti-virus software and made several changes so I cold save money on third party software I was using, but no longer need.

 + -1 moreFrom start to finish Tom was very professional. No matter whether I phoned him or emailed him, he answered my many questions promptly and completely. After the initial charge of $150, he did not charge any extra for all my questions. About a month later I managed to break one of the CD drives. Tom came the next day and replaced the drive for a very reasonable fee.
Description of Work: I called Tom because after trying several things, MS Excel was not working. Tom was here within 2 days. He could not fix the problem either after spending several hours trying various procedures and answering many questions. I bought a new Dell computer through him. He was able to get me a very good deal with a brand new computer with a large flat screen and many features I did not have with my old computer. Tom installed everything when he came back, including the hardware, protection software and the programs I needed. He tested everything, making sure everything worked properly.
