It went well. Walter did a good job and he seemed like a nice guy. He also helped secure a pipe he thought might have been rattling which was outside of the scope, but he didn't charge extra for it. My only issue was with a service charge. I got an estimate over the phone, but when he handed me the bill there was a $15 service charge. He didn't mention it to me when I got the estimate over the phone and I don't recall ever having to pay a service charge for a plumber. Regardless he honored his Angie's List coupon and we negotiated a bit on price which overall I thought was a fair price. I would hire him again.

The job went very smoothly.  Walter came right away to give me an estimate since I was leaving for vacation two days later.  We made an appointment for when I returned and he arrived on time that day.  He repaired the pipe and re-installed the toilet.  He was fast, efficient and not overpriced.  He cleaned up the area and even cleaned the mess on the floor below where the pipe was leaking through the ceiling.  He was very polite and professional.  I am happy to have found him and will certainly be using him again and giving his contact information to everyone I know that needs a great plumber.  10 stars!

Walter was very responsive from the first phone call. Gave us a scope of work and price that we were happy with and he was able to begin work 2 days later (it wasn't an emergency). He arrived on time, and was clean and professional with his work.
There was an unexpected problem once work began, which was out of his control. The previous owner had patched the pipe and this led to an issue we didn't account for. Usually, with work already underway, some contractors would take advantage of you because you have no choice but to fix the problem. However, Walter was very reasonable in his explanation and estimate to complete the work. While the job did cost more overall than initially anticipated, he was still much more reasonable than some others who had quoted the job without that unexpected error.
Overall I am very happy with the level of service we received. He took the time to show me what he was doing, explained everything thoroughly, completed the job both timely and cleanly. I would have no issue recommending this company to friends and neighbors.

The hot water piping in my home developed what I call 'the creeping crud'.  The connection from my water heater became terribly corroded and had sprung pinhole leaks.  Walter Drobecker came ASAP and quickly replaced the entire section of pipe and fittings.
I've used Drobecker several times in the last couple of years.  Walter is always quick to respond, fair with his pricing and always cleans up when he's done.  I would highly recommended Dobecker Plumbing. 

My hot water shut off valve was leaking in the basement and he explained that over time the packing becomes worn.  He said the problem did not require a replacement part and he worked to restore the strength of the existing packing  I was even more impressed when he said if it continues to leak in the next few weeks he would return to fix it and credit me for this charge.  He additionally adjusted the cold water shut off valve at no charge just to be safe.  My wife and I were both very impressed by his professionalism.

Told me he would order a new automatic hot water dispenser and asked me which one I wanted. I didn't hear back after a few days so I called him again. He told me he was having trouble getting the part, (after also telling me that he was thinking about me every morning as he would use his own hot water dispenser, despite him and quot;thinking about meand quot; I didn't receive a call) but that he was going to the plumbing store that day and would call me back that night. No call. A few more days passed and I called him again. He said he got the part, it was sitting on his truck, but he was in the middle of a job, and would call me back that night. No call. I've been without my automatic hot water dispenser since the day he came and have not received any calls. Not only that, my original problem is not fixed.

He called me back the same day. He had me go out and buy the part, so that he didn't have to charge me for it. He came out on time, and put in the new part. He was efficient, timely, clean, neat and very professional. He was also very polite and courteous. He also had me take the defective faucet back to the store to get my money back.

Walter was prompt and professional, delivering top quality work and leaving the area clean and neat.

He took about 1+1/2 hours and provided some parts for the work. He did not clean up all the plaster from the nearby floor tiles, but we don't use plumbers very often, so maybe that's to be expected.

I checked Angies list and found Drobeckers which was nearby and had a and quot;Aand quot; rating. I called , he called me right back and told me when he would be there and he was right on time.
He knew what he was doing and fixed the problem right away, installing new fixtures. I highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs. a great experience.

He is wonderful. His prices are very reasonable. He is dependable. If he can't fix the problem, he will not charge you.
