They were prompt in responding ... quick to make an appointment .... came on the day promised. Work was done excellently. No mess ... everything was cleaned up before they left. Yes ... I would recommend them highly! Money well spent.

Orlando came to my house an hour late and spent 1 minute looking at my tub and quickly quoted me $400 and an additional $100 to take the shower doors off and put them back on. I contacted him to set up an appointment and it took him days to respond. After responding he told me to send him a photo of the tub he already quoted me for. After sending him a photo of the tub we arranged an appointment for the work. A couple days before the job I asked him to confirm the date because I had to take off of work. He never responded. I contact him a few days later and after a few hours he confirmed the day but at a later time. He also told me the price has now increased to $488.84 plus $100 to remove the shower doors and put them back on. I asked him why and he said he could not remember the quote he gave me earlier and would not honor it. I told him I would give him the job for the original amount agreed upon but he said no. After thinking about it, no matter what the price was, if it was this difficult to give someone work, imagine how difficult it would be to have him come back if there was an issue. Happy I decided to go with a professional company that keeps appointments and doesn't change their quotes

I did not want to change the old tub. This service was completed in 2011 and I was very pleased with the look of the tub. The only con was that the service person removed the grout around the tub and did not replace it

Orlando was contacted and responded immediately the next day. He was prompt when he gave an estimate, and honest.
We originally wanted to just reglaze the tub and sink, but he informed us that the sink was made of glass and the scratches would resurface if they were reglazed. He recommended that we replace the sink top instead. The tub is the original to the house (over 40 years old and cast iron) . He recommended to also regrout and glaze the tiles, which surrounds the whole bathroom. Some of the tiles needed repair from being there for so many decades. Orlando showed up on time with his crew and they did a wonderful job (took 2 days). The tub and tiles look like new, and is easy to clean. The only thing that is a problem is the warranty states that if we use a bathroom mat with suctions cups, it will void our warranty. I am unable to find mats that does not have suction cups anywhere, and it can be a potential safety hazard if anyone slips and falls. So I am on a mission to find bath mats that will not void my warranty. Orlando and his team did a great job, it was very hot on the two days that they worked in the bathroom and extremely hard work, but they were professional. I feel like the price was reasonable, because I was originally comtemplating getting a new tub , fixtures and tub surround which would have cost a fortune (a plumber was also consulted). Reglazing is a great and affordable way to maintain the beauty of the original tiles and bath tub.

Bath Tub Doctor is very responsive, courteous, and willing to go the extra mile to work with your schedule. I dealt with the company owner directly; he gave me his cell phone number on the first call. The product, however, flaked off in one spot within a few weeks, though they came to repair this at no extra charge. I have heard that this happens with re-glazing in general. The only other complaint is that they left the plastic protection taped up to the ceiling after they left, but I suppose this was to make sure no one touched the sink while it dried.
