This was a very honest businessman. He was very forthright about letting us know he did not provide the service we needed.

Contractor explained what he was going to do, yet was very responsive and agreeable to doing the job the way we wanted it done.  There were some slow starts due to weather and unavoidable delays, but he returned all calls and kept us informed.  When they showed up early one morning to start the actual work, things went smoothly.  The original contract had not included removing the cedar tree, stumps, and repairing the eroded block, as these items were not known when the estimate was given.  After discussion, we decided to go with the contractors offer/suggestions for the additional work.  As the equipment was alread on-site, the additional amount was incremental and reasonable, so we wrote it into the contract, and both signed and kept copies.  Contractor was very responsive to questions, concerns, taking care of details, and cleanup. No corners were cut, and if/when additional materials were needed to do the job right, he went right out and got what was needed and did it. In several situations, they went above and beyond the letter of the contract to ensure our satisfaction and that the job was done right.  Bottom line: I would have no hesitation hiring them again, and most likely will if/when need arises.

I chose Becker after a friend had them replace 3 walls that had caved in on a ranch house in Chili. When I heard the price and saw the quality of their work I knew that they would add value when I broke ground on my addition. Now that I have worked with them first hand they will always be the first people that I call. I found them very flexible to work with. I am an 'unreformed DIYer' and I rarely enjoy working with contractors. Warren made it very easy. He always listened to what I was trying to accomplish and took the time to gather any opinions that I had for how to accomplish the task at hand. When practical, we often worked side by side to get things done. I'm happy to say that my overall experience with Becker exceeded all of my expectations, especially when it came to value. These will be the first guys that I call for any major construction project in the future.
