Contacted this builder via email on June 6th, 2012, asking if they were interested in bidding for new home construction. I did not receive any response whatsoever. (I wasn't expecting a return email or call immediately, but it's now been over a month.) It would seem appropriate to me that a short reply that took 20 seconds to write would have been the common courtesy. Anything, such as "not interested in bidding on this job due to existing work load", "too far to travel", "we don't do that type of work", or whatever. In the long run, I'm fine with this, because I would not want to hire a constractor that does not communicate well.

THey were wonderful! It felt like family. They built most of the home while we were living in Wisconsin. It was as pleasant as building can be! We have had a few problems since, but they come right over to take care of it as soon as we call. Such as a piece of molding sagging, window piece, small things. We picked out a house, and wanted to find someone to build it.
