Great, always could count on a top job being done

Rich did a great job in providing his vision for what were the right and wrong plants to use based on the our soil and the amount of sun our yard received. He and his team did excellent work and by and large everything has grown in great. When we did have an issue with a few plantings in a certain area they came back a few time to replace them without question. We were very happy with his work and would recommend anyone looking for a quality yard at a price that did not break the bank.

I originally contacted Total Landscape Care and Design Inc on May 22, 2014 by phone to do a clean-up at my house. I was contacted immediately and someone came over to do an estimate. Rich, I believe was his name called me with a quote. I was told that they would leave a written estimate in my mail box. To make a long story short, no written estimate was left in my mailbox. I contacted them the next day (5/23) and was assured that they would leave me an estimate. No estimate was left again. On May 29th, I sent an message through Angie's list, I really wanted to use them based on their great rating. No response... On June 5th, I sent another message through Angie's list. No response from Total Landscape Care and Design Inc. Guess they are either too busy or just do not want to take on the work. I ran a landscaping business for almost 10 years and never totally blew off a potential customer like this. If we couldn't take on the business we were straight forward. I have since then done the trimming of my front bushes, cleaned up the leaves, power raked, cut lawn and edged, however there are still bushes in the back that I would love to have trimmed but do not have the proper equipment because they are sort of hard to reach (surround a pool). Anyway, I am still willing to give Total Landscape Care and Design Inc the benefit of the doubt here. They have great ratings, but I felt like I was ignored up to this point. All the best, Rob

My overall experience with them is excellent. They are great with the design of the landscaping. They have a good price. They are very competitive, and they do excellent work. They have been doing it for twenty or more years. For the grass, the price was maybe $25 a week; I have a big property. For the fall cleanup, the price depends on what we have. I never had the sprinkler, but they do all kinds of work. I haven't done the sprinklers because I don't really need it. The price is definitely reasonable. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

This was a bi-weekly maintenance, but when they do the Fall and Spring cleanups, they outdo themselves and take care of everything. If I could give them more than an A rating, I certainly would. Call them for an estimate and then hire them. Your property will adore you for it!

I use them constantly and I am really happy with them. They do mowing for me and they do spring and fall cleanup. They have both organic and non organic and I use only the organic; so I can't speak about the non organic. I don't use any chemicals. They are very good at what they do and they know what they are doing. I really like everything about them and if there is an emergency they will come. I have it done every other week but if for some reason there is a lot of rain in the middle of the season, and it grows more, they will come that week or if something needs to be attended to, they will come and take care of it. I would continue to use them in the future; in fact, they are the only ones I use.

The workers are all very prompt and courteous. They do the work at a fair price.

We contacted Total Landscape because we needed a new organic landscaper. Our prior person, who we used for years and really liked, suddenly disappeared and our lawn and garden have been in disarray for the last couple of months. Mr. Staudt came three weeks ago and gave an estimate. We liked him and the price seemed reasonable, so we decided to hire Total Landscape. His secretary said they would come early the week of 9/12 to perform the clean up. The week came and went and nobody showed up. Same thing this week. We called and left messages with no response. Finally my husband reached the secretary today and she said that Mr. Staudt told her that he had no idea when they would get to our house and he doesn't want to hold us up if we want to hire somebody else. I am incredibly disappointed that we were left hanging for three weeks, when our property is very much in need of this clean up - I think our neighbors are going to throttle us! If the company did not want or could not handle another customer they should have said so at the outset. I don't know what would have happened if we didn't call - would they just never have shown up without calling and notifying us?
