Life Design, John specifically, were an amazing company to have hired to complete our disaster of a job. We had a major flood and John and his crew were up to the task right away! They came in, and went above and beyond to make sure our home was put back together better than before. Professional, prompt, and proficient - those are just some adjectives that can be used to describe Life Design. I would hire them again for any home remodel that I may desire in the future.

The project is complete and we could not be happier. The professionalism of this company is beyond compare. I did not think this experience would be as great as it has been but Jon listened to all of our concerns and wants and accommodate as best he can. He is really easy to work with and incredibly compassionate and considerate. He is not in this just for money but for the love of bringing our home back to life after the devastating flood we experienced which destroyed 80% of our home. There are not enough great things I could say about Life Design Construction. If you value your home, please call them.

I'm a first time, single homeowner in my mid 20s who decided investing in a fixer-upper would be a good idea. Initially I planned on doing a lot of work myself and subbing out the rest. Very quickly this proved to be a bigger undertaking than expected. Working full time, an hour away, and managing this scale of this project was just not realistic. I was overwhelmed, stressed, and regretting my home purchase. I talked to a couple of other contractors referred to me who either didn't return my calls, or "ghosted" after committing to start. I hopped on HomeAdvisor hoping to at least get some of the work started. Along came Anthony (John) and Sal. Within 5 minutes of submitting the request, John gave me a call and showed a genuine interest in my project. He was there the next day (on a Sunday, no less) and from that point on I was in excellent hands. We walked through my home and it was immediately clear they approached their work differently from others. I could sense their genuine enthusiasm in the potential of my house that was in rough shape. They were low-pressure and truly wanted to get to know me and what I was looking for. I was amazed at how "in-sync" we were when it came to expectations and goals. I had written a list of things I was considering doing, and they walked through the house and pointed out nearly the exact same ideas without me even bringing them up! They suggested nearly everything I had considered. Just amazing! They drafted a proposal that fit my budget and we started quickly. From that point on I finally felt like I could take a breath, and that I had people on my side I could trust. Work began quickly, and the progress never slowed. My finances improved during the first few months, and I was able to do a lot more than anticipated. John and Sal were nothing short of accommodating and flexible when it came to our plan. I was so pleased with the quality of the work they had started, it was a no-brainer to ask them to expand to rehabbing every room in my home. I've heard that communication is an issue with many contractors, however, this was NEVER the case with John and Sal. You can tell they are passionate about creating spaces people love to be in and that passion showed in every part of the project. Realistically, I spent more time with them than my own family during this renovation and never once did their excitement wane. Even late in the evening and on weekends they stayed responsive and dedicated, they gave 110% of themselves to get my project complete. I echo other reviewers in how pleasant they are to work with. At the end of our project, I was sad to see them leave! Being able to manage subcontractors, budgets, timelines, customer service, and have an outstanding eye for design takes serious mastery of their craft. John kept a close eye on the budget and helped manage the business side. The craftsmanship Sal brought to my home is hard to describe without physically showing someone. His eye for design and woodworking expertise took a traditional middle-class ranch home and turned it into something that belongs on the beaches of the Hamptons. Months later, I still can't express how elated I am with the way my home turned out. I never thought I'd be living in such a luxurious space and still can't believe my eyes every single time I come home. Friends and family come to visit and their jaws drop at the caliber of work Life Design produced. I've recommended them to others and am saving up to accomplish even more with them in the future. Thank you all for such an incredible experience. Many friends and family members tried to sway me from buying a fixer-upper with horror stories of projects gone wrong. John and Sal are amazing! The quality and knowledge of their work is absolutely AMAZING! They are readily available, keep you apprised of what they are doing every step of the way and are just the nicest people. Because I designed and decorated the apartment myself, I popped in every few days to drop off samples or something I wanted installed, Sal, Doug and the guys were always so friendly and took the time out of their day, or even lunch break, to show me the progress on the apartment and what steps they were going to do next. Doug did a BEAUTIFUL tile job in the bathroom, I wish I could post pics on Home Advisor so you all could see. They work with your budget, and do the best work they can in your budget range. I can't applaud Life Design Construction Inc. enough, they are Fantastic. Call them!!

This company did impeccable work. They were very detailed oriented and helped me redesign my kitchen...which looks just gorgeous!!!!! They also come very close to the timeframe they promised to be completed. Felt very comfortable working with them...they were very knowledgeable creative and professional. I also found their pricing to be VERY fair!!...refreshing:-)...I would highly recommend and will be referring them to my family & friends.
