My overall experience with Humberto was nothing short of fantastic! We had an emergency when a large tree branch fell and put a large hole in our roof. He was here within hours to tarp and plank the hole, and put on a new, beautiful roof the very next day (including new gutters and some siding repairs). The cost was lower than most estimates I got and the work exceeded all expectations. Very highly recommend.

Humberto and his crew did a wonderful job replacing our roof. Very professional crew and meticulous. We would recommend this company to everyone. In addition to all the good work, completion time and professionalism, Humberto is just a nice man that takes pride in his work and wants the customer to be happy.

Humberto and his crew completed the replacement of my existing shingled and flat roof in two days. He remained on the job the entire time, supervising his men to make sure that everything went smoothly and it did. The roof looks amazing and when he and his crew departed, he left my place in an immaculate state. Additionally, Humberto is extremely professional, polite, meticulous and true to his word - an outstanding craftsman.

Humberto is everything that you have read in the past reviews. He is a gentleman, he is professional, and a pleasure to do business with. He climbed  up on the roof and evaluated the problem, he gave a fair estimate for the repair, and he fixed my roof to perfection. Humberto used top quality materials for the repair,  combined with his excellent knowledge of roofs,  plus his excellent skillful hands. Now my roof no longer leaks.

He was a gentleman and took the time to explain our options.  Of course, we have to wait for rain to see
if the option we chose has worked.  If not,  we will call him back again to discus further options.  We would 
certainly recommend him to our friends and acquaintances.  By the way, Humberto also happen to be 
an accomplished artist.  He paints beautiful pictures and murals.

Humberto was great. He came over for the estimate, explained the problem. and fixed the holes in the roof, reshingled and replaced  the underlying rotting wood. He and his team did a fabulous job cleaning up -- I didn't find a single nail or any debris on the property. He is very nice and pleasant and I would definitely call him again.

Completely satisfied.  Finished work in five hours, cleaned up area, and was very professional.

During Sandy, I had a leak and he did an excellent job with it. I had gotten some far higher estimates than what he gave me and we have not had any problems since. I had gotten an estimate of $2,100 and someone told me $11,000. Those were crazy estimates but he did not overcharge. He was very good and I recommend him everyday. He came when he said that he was going to and he completed the job that he said. I have not had any leaks or anything from that part of my roof since then. I would definitely use him again in the future. If I need any more work like that, I would certainly call him first before calling anybody.

Humberto did a excellent job at my neighbors across the street. I saw how clean and neat his work is and their roof looks great!

We needed someone to perform this small repair.  Humberto responded promptly to look at the problem and completed the work, as promised, the very next day.  While he was on the roof, he noticed another place where the siding was pulling off and a window that needed caulking.  He took care of all the problems while he was on the roof.
We appreciated his prompt response, professional manner, and reasonable price.

Humberto is the ultimate gentlemen, he and the team did excellent work and ensured the work area clean-up was spotless.  In addition he was able to correct a leak on the front of my home connected to the portico that I really should have had him look at long ago.
I have used Humbert's service several times, he traveled to Queens to review and fix my Mom's roofs before I became an Angies List Member and he new just how to handle Mom and the Roof.
Polite, Staight-forward, reasonable pricing and great work product.  I wish I would have found other contractors with the same approach as I was rebuilding my home following Hurricane Sandy.

Humberto was very responsive when I called. He called me back almost immediately. I arranged an appointment to meet with him. He showed up on time on the day that we had agreed upon. He inspected the roof and told us that he could patch it up in one day. He stated that the cost for repair was much less than the other estimates. We had one estimate from another roofer for $11,000 dollars!!!  Believe it or not, that $11,000 estimate stressed me so much, that I joined Angie's List IMMEDIATELY!
He repaired that leak in one day!! We gave him and his partner cold bottled water because it was very hot that day. He and his partner worked diligently until the task was completed. He even offered to fix a torn extension cord for no extra charge!! I can't tell you how happy that made me.
After the work was done, he explained what he had done and why we had the leak in the first place. The leak had been caused by incompetent work by a previous roofer. 
It has rained since the repair was made. I have to tell you that the inside of the house is now BONE DRY WHEN IT RAINS!!!  I'm doing the happy dance!!
He later inspected the inside of the house where there was water damage from the leak. He stated that he would recommend a friend of his who was an honest businessman like himself. That individual came by on the date and time agreed upon and inspected the inside of the house. He gave us a quote that was so reasonable, it made me feel guitly!
The beauty of working with Humberto is that he fixed what we needed to have fixed. He DID NOT create added work in order to inflate the cost of the repair. Humberto is our angel! We will call him again and again and again! We will consult Angie's List again and again and again!
It feels so good, knowing that I WAS NOT cheated by a person in construction. It feels so good knowing that I could afford the repair that I needed. It feels so good to know that there will be no more leaks where the repairs were made. It just feels good.
I will NEVER, EVER hire anyone without consulting Angie's List first. Yes...I know that that is the line in the commercial. But, now I know what those people mean!

They were on time and cleaned up completely after the work was done.

Humberto Piloto and his company are amazing people to deal with. They replaced our roof after the big wind storm a few years ago. The entire job was done in one LONG day including the rip-out of the old roof. They put tarps down around the perimeter of the house, even covering the bushes. The cleanup afterwards was so complete that not even a nail was to be found.
They also replaced the roofs of both of our next door neighbors, who are also VERY satisfied. 
  Their craftsmanship and pride in their work is obvious.
   What amazed us was that after Hurricane Sandy, Mr. Piloto stopped by the house to check on us and to see if there was any damage to our 4 year old roof. He reported that the roof suffered no damage at all.
  Humberto is a really interesting guy to talk to, and also an artist, specializing in faux paint and murals.
We would highly recommend Humberto Piloto for all roofing and home improvement needs. 

The pricing was reasonable. The boss was supervising the job the whole time. They cleaned up neatly after the job. I was very satisfied with their work.
