Tom and Doug were knowledgeable and professional. We bought an old house that needed a lot of work and they guided us through the process of upgrading the electrical panel and re-wiring the entire house. They were up front with us and honest throughout the entire process. We have since called them back twice for more work and they have responded quicker than we could have hoped. I would highly recommend them for any electrical work you are considering.

Everything went well. They were very courteous, very clean, and their work was very good.

We have an old house and had assumed a certain outlet was on a dedicated line. When we had more than one space heater on, it ending up blowing the fuse; so flipping the switches on the circuit breaker did not help at all. We called on Herman Berger and Sons once again. They promptly returned our call and agreed to come out as soon as possible based on my schedule. The electrician that came out was professional, prompt and courteous. I was worried that things may get involved as the house and electrical was old, but he quickly reassured me he can get to the bottom of it and I should not be so worried. After careful investigative work in tracing the circuitry, he was able to quickly pinpoint the problem to a blown fuse and get everything up again. He didn't have to break into any walls to my relief! I would use them again and again!

Two guys, one being Thomas Berger, came and checked out every line, tested them, and figured out where the break in the line was. They then repaired that and everything turned back on. An update from April 16, 2010, he did not correct the problem. There is a break in the line, the fridge and everything else worked for a couple hours. I called at 10:15 and 12:15 as well as 1:00 today. I gave my cell phone to reach me as I need this resolved. I have not heard a thing as of April 19, 2010. They are leaving me high and dry. It was very unprofessional and I needed their guidance. They have not backed up their work and never gave me the courtesy of a phone call.

Mr. Berger was on time, did what he had to do with a 1 hour lunch and was nice enough to add the hood after the initial job was finished. He did joke around with his fellow employee quite a bit, but it didnt effect the speed or quality of his work.

The service was excellent. They were efficient and knew exactly what to do and got everything just perfect.

We had problem using space heaters in our home (old house), too much load on our regular lines. Other electricians wanted to add more dedicated lines to our home, breaking through walls etc. Thomas Berger upon accessing the situation suggested the most cost efficient way by proposing the reusing of some old 220 lines that we were no longer being used for old wall unit ACs and converting them to 110 so that we will instantly have dedicated lines for our space heaters during the winter, and window AC units during the summer. Upon my request, he also went through my property and told me were there were electrical violations or hazards (interior wiring used for exterior light fixtures, ungrounded exterior outlets, etc). Thomas Berger and his crew helped address all these issue in one day. They arrived promptly in the morning and worked steadily through the day. Prompt, courteous and cleaned up after themselves. I was happy with my choice.

Job 1: He came on time and he was very clean. I like that their company is licensed and insured. I haven't had any problems with the work that was done. He had very competitive pricing but I don't remember exactly how much we paid. Job 2: These men are excellent electricians. They know what they are doing and always get the job done right the first time. This project was an easy one for them, but they can do relatively anything that has to do with electrical work. I highly recommend them and will continue to use their services. I do not wish to show a price for this job at this time.

Went smoothly. Called Peter Berger. He came to home and issued an estimate, completed the work within the same week. Was courteous and efficient and clean.

This job was performed to perfection. To install 12 high hats in a 75 year old house was no easy task. The holes cut out for the high hats were filled in with plaster after installation and would only require a sanding and paint. These lights were installed on a new separate line with four dimmer switches. I would recommend this company for any type of electrical work. Their price was fair and workmanship was excellent.

I BELIEVE THIS COMPANY DID A WONDERFUL JOB OF FIXING THE DRYER IN A TIMELY MANNER. MY DRYER IS RUNNING LIKE NEW AND MY CLOTHES ARE DRYING IN HALF THE TIME IT WAS TAKING.
