Description of Work: I recently had work done by Paul Davis and am completely disappointed by the poor quality of work performed. My apartment sustained water damage and Paul Davis was contracted to re-install the kitchen cabinetry, countertops, and appliances as well as paint the entire apartment..The initial work was sloppy and subpar. There were missing tiles, cracked, chipped countertops with missing end-caps, a large gap between the dishwasher and the counter, uneven trim, unsecured transition panels between the kitchen and living areas and gaps between the baseboards and tiles. In addition, there was paint on the newly finished cabinets, major unpainted areas in the apt and dirty handprints on the walls, as well as paint and tar tracked all over the brand new wood flooring. Gerry Sevilla listened to my concerns and I was contacted by Julio. Julio returned to fix the tiles that day and had the end-caps put on the unfinished countertops. He promised to have a crew back the next day to fix the remaining problems but the work remained incomplete and unprofessional. Most disturbing was the additional billing charged to my insurance company to correct their poorly done previous work. This is completely unacceptable! In addition I required an emergent visit from Con Ed to repair a gas leak from an improperly connected stove installed by Paul Davis. Their work has proved not only poor in craftmanship but dangerous as well. Even though the work remains incomplete Paul Davis has not proved themselves competent of doing a satisfactory job and therefore will not be returning to my apt!
