Very professional. On time. Cleaned everything up after the work. Used them before and will use them again.

Eric and his crew were first-rate. We will continue to use their services in the future.

The work was done well, and the workers were courteous. However, when I was billed more than the estimate, I was not able to get a straight answer about what work I was being billed for, despite multiple calls and emails over a period of months.

They did a great job! The work was very neat and very professional. They cleaned up until the lawns were immaculate. Definitely exceeded my expectations. The price was very reasonable for quality and amount of work done. Will definitely use them again.

These trees have been there a long, long time. We’re ok right now, but with this drought. It’s the same group, but they all have their specialties and things that they do.

I now seem to have gotten an agreement where they fertilize a couple of tree a few times a year, and the guy was here a couple of days ago, and I’m thinking what is he doing with the yellow hose, but he was fertilizing around the base of some trees. There is so much rock here that a lot of the trees, I should have been doing this all along, but a lot of the trees they’re not getting the natural nutrients as if they were just out there in a field somewhere because the roots are going down in rock if you go down very far, so I think the name of the game is just basically put some fertilizer in the ground. It’s an ongoing thing. It’s just happens to depend on when they drive up the driveway. You have a contract with these people and they come when they come. They’re one of the big tree companies. I noticed there are other companies around. I see other people’s trucks, but these people are, you know. And they’re expensive too, but they’re… when you have someone on a ladder way up high, you want someone who’s ??(46:55) and insured.

They are great. They did a very good job. And the trees are starting to look a little better. Everything is starting to look good and the property looks really good. The staff is excellent. They’ve been here a couple of times; they are very good.

George Sermier is the point person for Sav a Tree in the upper Westchester area. He listens, has creative ideas and is in constant contact with you on status. I had 2 other highly recommended tree companies from Angies List  come in and give quotes but George really showed the most interest and was fully engaged. He also came in the lowest amongst the 3 quotes so this was an easy choice for me. 
Overall the team came in and did a great job knocking this out quickly. The only knock I had was around the team being very late showing up on the day I thought they were coming first thing in the morning. George kept me posted on the phone about the issues which was helpful but I literally wasted most of a vacation day home for them to show up and get going around 2:30pm.  We walked through all the things that needed to be done and trusted they would be the next day (though i would not be home).  When I came home I noticed that the maples were cut down but not completely cut up and put into the woods like we spoke about. I sent George some pictures and he agreed that it was not fully done and sent the crew back the next day to complete it. 
So I give an A overall in working with George. His positive and friendly approach in working with you along with suggestions/options how to handle my situation gave me a good feeling in my gut he was customer focused. I also give an A for his commitment to get things right and the overall price was hundreds less than the other two. The B marks go for the late start  (apparently some "easy" job was not so easy before mine) and the fact that the maples were not cut up fully and moved on the first attempt.  

It went very well on the application of the lawn. They also had sprayed my five blue spruce trees in a prior visit to treat against rust disease. They are real professionals and will continue to use them all year round with an annual service contract.

It's just impossible to imagine how bad this company is.  Sometimes they show up when they're supposed to. Sometimes they don't and need to be reminded.  The lawn looked worse after spending the money on them and they just had no answers -- and didn't even try to fix things.  One thing they are stellar at is billing.  One day I received 6 -- yes, that's right -- 6 of the same bill from them. One day.  The day before?  3 identical bills.  They will dun you to death.  If only their lawn service was as responsive.  Had almost zero interest in attempting to rectify the problem.  But d***, can they bill like champions.  
I have also spoken to others from our town and everyone feels the same way: overpriced and awful service.

He was very knowledgeable and knew what he was talking about. He gave us good recommendations about some of our other trees. We didn't initially call him here for that, but he gave us the recommendations. The service was fast and there were no complications. They were good.

Redmond Tsao is the arborist for the Chappaqua area and is excellent to work with - very responsive. He is available by phone or email - and I particularly appreciate the convenience of the latter. (But I find all their people to have a great courteous demeanor including the people who come to perform treatments. They also email to advise you of upcoming services and leave a note on your door - so even though you don't have to be home, you know what's coming and what occurred.)

Red is very knowledgable of plants and trees and has a great consultative approach (I used to work with SavATree years ago when Lloyd was the arborist for the area but had used others in interim years. Red left me a note one day to report that he'd noticed the disease on my boxwoods when he was servicing a neighbor's and that helped us rebuild the relationship again to a broad array of services.)  In preparation for a pool installation Red helped us remove several trees and gave me a good review of the health of various trees on the property.  

The men who did the tree work were professional, safety-oriented, tackled large trees, and left my property in clean and tidy shape. I have also had them grind numerous tree stumps.  Red recommended fertilization and spray treatments for some of our trees but they were very specific and limited recommendations so I never felt like I was just being "sold to".

Very well overall.  Brent was very professional and punctual, and gave great advise.  Since the team are actual arborists, they can tell you more about what is good for the trees and land rather than just the work aspect of it.  They did a great job at taking down two huge trees, and didn't damage any property other than tearing up some grass below.  My only complaint is that I wish they would have done a bit more trimming in some of the areas.

The service was very good. They are a top notch company and the cost is high but they do great work.
