Purchased a Viking cooktop and had problems with the ignition system from the day it was installed. I contacted Appliance Genie at the very moment that we began having the problem and they were very punctual in sending out a service technician. Parts were replaced and the problem was still not fixed, Appliance Genie never gave me a report or plan of action for what was going to be done. I even had to call the manufacturer directly to get another visit from AG. During the second visit gas pressures were adjusted at each burner and that didn't fix the problem either. The tech even had to return that same day because all of the gas valves began leaking after being adjusted. Overall, we are extremely unimpressed by the lack of communication from AG. I see a lot of positive reviews but find it hard to believe after what I am going through for the last 11 weeks. I have also noticed very passive aggressive responses from AG when these reviews are negative, that in itself should show their level of professionalism. Available for discussion when you are AG, otherwise show up, reply, respond... fix the problems and stop making excuses. Just be courteous and respectful!

"I am sure your stove was working when the technician left, "Our service call is warrantied for 90 day on the same appliance with the same problem," with that said, you wouldn't need to pay an additional service charge as explained by Rep. over the phone. Tech came out and found you had a new problem, we waived the service call, and gave you the prices for the parts needed for this new problem you where having. our company has to pay for all viking parts they don't ship them to us free... because you didn't want to pay for your parts you posted this unjustified review in an attempt to ruin our reputation. Customers who own viking appliances know how expensive the brand is, and so are the parts.. We don't operate a not for profit business, and while we can't please all the people all the time, this review will not break our 99% customer satisfaction rate. this we know to be true!! Want to prove it call 914-864-1252."
