Faucets, Fixtures and Pipes Repair or Replace
They came pretty quickly because our tankless water heater after 17 years expired. They are doing a great job up until the end when we asked them to come back about how they did the vent going outside of the house and didn?t seal it up or glue it down to replace some of the rotting wood and was told that they don?t do that kind of work you would think at the very least they would?ve told us that we need to hire somebody to finish off that work. I suspect that they wanted to run off to another job and didn?t really want to deal with it. I was told that they didn?t really have the correct tools to seal up the vent which now leaks into our basement every time it rains this is why I?ll never give them five stars.

Our sewage pipe backed up right before the Winter Holidays. Getting a plumber to come out was very difficult, and the first two we had weren't able to resolve the problem. We had to rent a porta potty and go to hotels to shower, during a pandemic! We were resigned to having to spend $10K to connect with city sewer, assuming it was our septic tank that was broken. Then McMillen came and put his high quality camera in the pipe. He found the blockage and was able to push it out. Our septic was fine, it was just a simple blockage! The total bill was only $250. We were so relieved after 3.5 weeks of misery. We will forever use McMillen after this and trust them completely.

Our contractor redid floors, countertops, faucet, sink etc when gutting and revamping the first floor of our home. Since then we have been annoyed by a variety of leaks over the course of 3 years. Nothing that our handyman couldn't handle, but with the replacement of the dishwasher with an awesome new bosch a few months ago...the situation got out of hand. We called McMillen Brothers and were so happy that they came to the house and tried to temporarily patch the problem while the best approach for a long term fix was decided upon. By the way, there was no charge for the first house call and temporary repair. It wasn't long before he was ready with the special parts and plan...and was at the house again. He did a wonderful job, just what we wanted and needed! He did it quickly, politely and left with a smile, just telling us the bill was to come in the mail. When it came...I almost wanted to call and ask if it was an installment plan! No, it was the entire bill, parts labor etc. We were happy to pay a reasonable sum for a job well done. Still no problems, or leaks nearly a month later. They will always be called for any plumbing or heating need we have in this home!!!
