I recently had the pleasure of working with Hudson Valley Landscaping & Drainage to address a persistent flooding issue in my homeâ s crawl space, and Iâ m very glad I did. After my wife and I interviewed other contractors to rectify a very difficult basement flooding problem, we met with Marc the owner of this company: (HVL&D). Everything had to be done; repairing the foundation, creating inside drains and installing two sump pumps are only some of the things that had to be done. We are a working family who has done most of all home repair work ourselves, but knew when we had met our match. HVL&D had ALL equipment needed and was able to get all the parts needed very fast! He not only accomplished what he set out to do but re-landscaped everywhere all his crew worked and went above what we paid them to do. They were extremely neet and professional. These are the guys to call for any water issues in the yard and home. Will probably have them build a deck for us when ready! VERY capable folks. They give you what you pay for!

Marc was the only contractor who replied through homeadvisor to our request for someone to do a curtain drain in our yard. He was great...responded promptly, completed work in one day and exceeded expectations.

Marc and his team did an amazing job waterproofing our foundation and installing new foundation drainage for our home. It was a huge task, including the removal of an existing deck, which they then rebuilt better than it was before, and the removal of an existing retaining wall, which was beautifully rebuilt with stone. Marc took the time to explain the process and answer our questions. He and his team were out there working hard every day until the job was complete. Our basement is now dry, and we feel confident that it will stay that way. Thank you!

Marc recently installed a driveway drain at my residence because of driveway settling and water pooling in the vicinity of the garage door entrance. I was hesitant as our driveway is fairly new and I worried the aesthetics might suffer and the pavement could become compromised. Marc patiently explained the process and quickly followed with a reasonable estimate. I did however, wait to submit my review until after the first heavy rainfall and I am pleased to report the drain worked perfectly even under recent, severe/storm conditions! The job was completed in one day as promised and I was especially pleased with the clean-up and attention to detail. Marc and his sons worked tirelessly, professionally and I would highly recommend them for any similar projects.

Marc and his crew do amazing work. This is he 3rd time we've had them and they've done a great job each time! two different small patios. They come on time and leave us with exactly what we wanted. Doesn't matter that they are relatively "small jobs". He's our "go to guy.

A large tree came down in my yard after a big storm, its root system basically destroyed the whole yard along with the old drywell system for drainage. Marc was knowledgable about what needed to be done and worked fast and efficiently to get things working and looking nice again. It was a big/complex project and he as extremely understanding when I had concerns or questions. I felt very taken care of throughout the process. I would recommend their services to others.

Marc and his team were outstanding. This was an outside project during the winter and yet they still managed to complete the job on time in the cold. Fantastic work. Highly recommend Hudson Valley Landscaping & Drainage for the foundation sealing and drainage work done. Marc explained every detail and answered our endless questions. The work was completed faster than originally estimated and no excess damage to the lawn and surrounding landscaping. They even removed and replaced one mature foundation plant, and seeded the disturbed lawn. The whole job was documented with pictures too (ask Marc to see them). You will not be disappointed and we’re so happy to have a dry family room.

Marc came as promised and gave us an on the site estimate. We needed a small area (130 square feet) installed with patio tiles. There was a slight delay due to the excessive rain in our area, but Marc gave us a date. He and his coworker arrived on time and completed the job in a little more than 1/2 day. They did a great job. We were thrilled with the result and will most certainly use him again, if needed and definitely recommend him to friends.

We had a large section of our property cleared and steep grade leveled. Marc Lombardi evaluated our needs, gave us a reasonable price and had the work done within 3 days. He's coming back in the spring to seed and landscape the property we have never been able to use. We couldn't have been more pleased with the results. We gained 20 feet of usable space in one section and 40 feet in another.
