He said it would take 2 days but failed to let me know I would have to purchase the door. It was my understanding that the cost of the job included the door. My initial impression was that he was trying to pull one over on me so I called to cancel. He assured me this was not the case so I agreed to continue with the work. He agreed to purchase the door and offered to do some ceramic tile work and fix my hardwood floor in certain spots. I already had the tile & supplies purchased as well as the polyurethane for the floor. It was agreed that this work would be completed by October over a 2 day period. He used an inferior shelving product. I insisted that I wanted wood and he was supposed to come back today to replace them. He was very nasty and threatening. He never did the doors and never did the floor. He left work unfinished and the quality of work was very poor. The materials that used were very cheap. I showed him the original contract that said the shelving would by plywood and he used MDF instead. That is when he became very nasty and threatening. He said he was doing me a favor and that this wouldn?t hold up in court. He told me to never call him again. He still never fulfilled the work that was promised. He took the easy way out and just did what he wanted. I only wanted to get what I paid for and I feel like he took advantage of me because I am a woman.
Description of Work: I had contacted him 9/25/12 to do some work for me. This included putting shelving in a pantry, making a coat closet, and putting shelving downstairs for a storage area, sliding doors on the storage area.
