The owner, Paul, does all work himself and is a true perfectionist. If you are looking to enhance the value of your house, he is the man to hire. As a real estate broker, I have seen many new homes and refinishing jobs, but none meet the standards of this company. As a matter of fact, one homeowner did it himself and it cost him $25,000 in resale value because he created ?waves? in all of the oak floors of a $700,000 home!
All sanding is 98% ?dustless? and the residue is collected, as it is generated, and flows through hoses connected to a large sealed drum located outside the house. This is important because breathing the dust has unidentified health risks; especially to the lungs.
100% of the floors were sanded by large and small sanders which were connected to the dustless system. This included the main floor areas, under all of the h/w radiators and inside the closets. All corners, even in the closets, were hand scraped.
Next, the area was thoroughly vacuumed and the sealer and one coat of finish was applied. The floors were re-sanded, followed by more vacuuming and the additional coats of finish were applied. (Only environmentally safe finishes are used and the one I specified is a premier one.)
If quality doesn?t matter or you are looking for a low price or a quick job, don?t bother with this company. On the other hand, if you want to preserve, or even enhance the value of your home, I would recommend that you give Paul a call. Also, if you want to speak to me about his work, send an email, with your phone number, to [email protected] and I will be happy to call you.
