+ -1 moreHe does amazing work. Leo's staff is very professional, on time and courteous and so is he. Leo was very thorough and precise going over the job details. He and his crew cleaned up very well after the job was complete. He and his crew did an amazing job. Leo also really took his time going over things with us and always willing to answer questions. He was also very good about returning our calls through out the job. Leo was everything that you would expect and want from a contractor.
Description of Work: I hired Long Island Handyman to remodel my bathroom and some other minor speckle work.

+ -1 moreThey were significantly higher than the contractor that I typically use so I did not hire them. My impression was positive; they called within 48 hours after I contacted them and they were prompt with the quote. My project was too small for them. Ultimately my contractor told me that recaulking the tub would not fix my problem so I did not do the project. I will use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I got a quote from Universal Home Improvement to recaulk my tub.

+ 1 moreI like that I’m dealing with a human being on the other line. They are usually prompt. They come out pretty much in two hours of my phone call. I will use their services again in the future.
Description of Work: I used Universal Home Improvement. I last used their services in April. They do the annual maintenance programme for me. I had them change a light bulb and do some changes on the light bulbs. They cleaned my gutters and stuff. They did some handymen work for me.

+ 9 moreThey (the owner-Leo,and his two workmen, were professional, respectful, exceptionally well equipped to do an excellent job.. They completely cleaned up and attended to all the large and small issues that came up, You could not ask for a more honest or more capable company.This took 1-2 extra days because of some extra work that had to be done, but also because they were meticulous in their work.
Description of Work: Completely re-did Laundry room/kitchen and guest bathroom and shower.. Tiled the bathroom and shower.. Re-framed the shower and fixed floor tiles..Completely gutted laundry room and re-did it from the bare walls and ceiling. Painted the laundry room (all walls and ceiling) and the bathroom ceiling. Put together all the cabinets purchased at IKEA including the sink and faucets, and cabinet handles.. Put in the new floor and re-did the plumbing and wiring and put in high hats for lighting...

+ 1 moreEverything went well, but I had to be present to be sure all was done correctly. They were very professional and their price was quite reasonable. I intend to use them again for other in-house repairs such as door replacements and kitchen updates.
Description of Work: Outdoor wrought iron furniture;stripped, primed and painted. Did a fine job. Replaced worn home wood siding and did multiple small jobs in the home.
