They were really good with delivery. We had to wait a long time for the sales person.

It didn't take long for them to assess the car and inform me that they wouldn't be able to fix it, but the overall morale of the shop seemed low.

They were pretty good; they were professional. They didn't do anything sneaky. They were on top of everything.

On 9/19/13 my refrigerator stopped working. I called for service that afternoon. I was told no one could be available until 9/25/13.  Told him that's  6 days and I would lose all my food. He told me to buy some ice and a cooler to put my food in or rent a frig. Told him I paid .$325.00 for service and not wait 6 days for service and be told to buy some ice. I am 75 years old and not in good health.  I told him to cancel my contract and would buy a new refrigerator today, not from sears. PC Richard could have a new frig in my house  tomorrow. No more sears for me.

I would have them do a smaller job as there were a few issues with the skylights leaking. They fixed them, but I wasn't happy that they weren't done right the first time. When you pay so much money you expect everything to be perfect, and it was not. I should have not had to pay an extra $500 dollars for a gutter as the mistakes made were theirs.

I purchased a Master Protection Agreement, (extended warranty) on a Refrigerator from the Sears Outlet.  In January the Ice Maker broke and I have now had 5 repair appointments for it (with a sixth planned) to repair it.  Each time the Ice Maker was replaced, and each time it failed to make Ice.  As part of the policy, if a device fails 4 times, the "no-lemon" guarantee kicks in and the refrigerator is to be replaced.  Sears has refused to honor the agreement and has instead told me that I have not had enough "qualifying service calls."  This includes one call that a technician apparently "cancelled" after damaging my refrigerator by cutting a piece of tubing that leads to the ice maker as a diagnostic technique.  He apparently cancelled the visit because he couldn't find anything wrong with the ice maker.  This has resulted in numerous fruitless conversations with Sears, where I have felt compelled to explain that something is wrong with an ice maker if it does not make ice, irrespective of whether or not the technician is capable of deducing the underlying cause of the failure.  On the most recent repair appointment (which I was told by the warranty service was needed simply for the technician to certify that the ice maker was still broken), apparently the tech manager forced the technician to try to replace the ice maker again (apparently with a different expected result than the last 4 replacement ice makers),  and required him to return for this 6th appointment, with some story about a "recalled" ice maker.  It apparently took 5 repair appointments for someone to be aware of a re-call on this part.   At the very least, that speaks to a gross incompetence.   I will never again recommend Sears products and I will not be purchasing from them again.   I would add that the most recent technician who has attempted to make repairs on this fridge has appeared to be a relatively knowledgeable and respectful person, but that is the sum total of any positive statements I can make on this experience.

He was very patient.  He explained everything.  He was very helpful.  I felt very comfortable with him.  He wasn't pushing me to get glasses or anything.

Ever since I got the refrigerator, it has been leaking. They came out about five times to fix it, but it is still not fixed. I spent $2,000 on the refrigerator. I did not spend on them coming out since I have extended warranty on the appliance. They keep coming back to repair it. A different guy comes out each time. Each one looks at it and says that he needs to order a part. Two weeks later, he would come out for the job. The refrigerator would leak again. Then, I would call up and make an appointment again. It takes about a week or two for them to come out. The process is repeated. The part comes in the mail and they install it. It is a never ending cycle. They cannot seem to find the problem. When I mentioned that they replace the appliance entirely, they told me that they needed to have certain number of service calls within a certain time period. I shut the water off the ice maker so that it would not leak at times. I have another appointment with them in a week or so. They will be replacing another part this time. My warranty is going to expire soon. The price was compatible. They do respond, but they go through motions. They do what they say, but it is not effective. I like the company, but I guess I will not use them again.
