 + 6 moreThe job took approximately 4 months and he was even here occasionally on Saturdays. When it was time for 'his' spackler, electrician, plumber, floor or tile guy to come, Phil always had them scheduled in advance and were usually here on time, with him supervising -- not that he had to because they were all professionals. He always sectioned off areas with plastic that he'd be working on, laid carpet strips on the stairs and always cleaned up at the end of the day -- which we really appreciated. He is the kind of talent that once you have him onsite, you start to think of other things that you have been putting off or decide that well... since the walls are open, why don't we... So 'we' ended up adding central a/c, upgrading our electric and adding crown moldings throughout. It has been 6 months since the completion of the job. We have not had any problems and we couldn't be happier!
Description of Work: PAB Home Improvements was hired to update our kitchen, living room and dining room (hi-ranch). Phil has performed many jobs for us in the past and we were always pleased with the outcome. This major reno included gutting in most cases to original framing; moving walls; sheet rocking; reinforcing and leveling floor beams and ceiling beams (house had settled quite a bit); roughing in electric and plumbing; installing new doors & windows (also replacing vinyl siding outside); installing kitchen and living room cabinets (does awesome trim work); installed wood floors with radiant heat; installation of new staircase; vented stove through the roof; built frame for fireplace and installed kitchen appliances (with help of plumber and electrician where necessary).
