Laura understood it was selling our family home and treated it as it was to us. Although modest in size and appearance, and having seen 54 years of family life, she saw the house as sweet and perfect for a young couple as we did. She didn't push to have the house sold to a developer who wanted to tear it down to build a McMansion.
