On the day before Thanksgiving our cesspool backed up slightly into our basement. We called Cesspool Pro and talked with Joanne who was very nice and helpful. She said there was a truck in our area finishing a job. She contacted the driver, Carl, and he was at our house within a half hour. Carl was terrific also. After a little time Carl was able to locate the cap to out drainage pipe and drained about 2000 gallons out of our tank and added chemicals. This was done fast and efficiently and the price was quite reasonable. Carl was very competent and agreeable. We were very happy with Joanne and Carl's service. We will definitely use Cesspool Pro again and will recommend them to others. Thank you Cesspool Pro. Mike G

Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value The crew at Cesspool Pros was phenomenal! The boss, Joe S., answered all my questions and came to my home and walked the property with me and explained how everything would work a good two weeks before the project started. I had an older block cesspool and overflow tank and the pipe between them was collapsed and no longer working. After contacting several companies, I knew after speaking with Joe that he was the most knowledgeable and advised me the best way to correct the problem was to replace the system with a modern one rather than do a riskier pipe repair that likely would not have held long and been dangerous to do. I have a very deep septic line coming from my house, at least 9-10 feet down from the house, and even lower from the cesspool to the overflow tank. After meeting and speaking with Joe, we set a date and his crew arrived on time and spared some landscaping so it could be re-planted while excavating the property. His company has all its own equipment and they were a great team working together on the site. I stayed home to observe the process and they answered all my questions while doing the job! The install went very smooth and it is truly an interesting and awesome process to observe. They demolished the old cesspool while installing the new septic tank and then abandoned and filled the old overflow tank as per code. They then installed a new overflow system further down the property. They measured and marked all the necessary locations should any future work be required as well. They also then put all the dug up ground back down and graded the property so it could be re-seeded! Today, Joe the owner, personally dropped off the official Suffolk Board of Health paperwork to my house! All in all, I highly recommend Cesspool Pros for any septic system work! They were competitively priced, punctual, responsible, professional, and above all, they are great at what they do! Do no hesitate at all to use them!

I'm so regret that I didn't listen to those 0.5 star review now! You have to read this! 1. They first came and said they have to locate my cesspool first. It's $275 for locating but if we hire them to do the service, its $1500 including locating, raise up, cleaning and everything needed for 1 pool and $2500 for 2 pools. Of course the $275 will be credited as deposit as he promised. The guy then started to locate my cesspool and said the 1st pool is half under my driveway and half under the grass so he needed a machine to dig a hole and raise it up so he would need to come another day. 2. That guy said the soonest he can come was Monday but on Sunday I called them and they said the soonest they can come is Wednesday but they will try for Tuesday. I can't wait that long because the cesspool is completely full and I can't use any water in my house. So I called the other company who quoted me $1400 and $2200 who can come on Tuesday. Then on Tuesday morning, CesspoolPro called me and said they are most likely able to come today. I rejected her at the beginning since I already scheduled with another company. But then I feel sorry for them so at the end I called back and asked them to come and cancelled the other appointment. I also asked her if she can match $1400/$2200 for EVERYTHING and she said yes. 3. When the owner came, he started to dig a hole where the guy thought the cesspool was. But later on the owner found that the cesspool was actually NOT there! Wherever he dig the hole, there was only pipes and he actually broke the pipes. But he promised he would fix it which I had no problem with. It turned out that the cesspool was actually under the grass only. 4. When I saw the cesspool, I don't see it down that deep so I personally don't think it needed to be raised up. Anyway I'm not professional so I just assume that he's doing a right job and not overcharging me. 5. I forgot that I already paid $275 on the first day so I gave him another $1400 on the second day because he only serviced one pool. 6. I found that when he dig the hole, he also broke my wiring that connects to my detach garage because now my garage is completely out of electricity. If he located my cesspool correctly at the beginning, I don't think he would have broken the wiring. That was the whole story before today. Now I called and said oh I already gave you $275 as deposit but the lady said the 1st invoice didn't say the $275 is deposit and there is no way that she would do $1400 for everything for 1 pool. And they're not responsible for the broken wiring. To me, they are overcharging me $275 which they originally quoted me $1500 and agreed to match $1400 but now it becomes $1675 in total. And the $275 locating fee actually located a WRONG place which resulted in breaking my underground wiring. One more thing, the owner also recommended me to replace a new cesspool but I rejected right away because it's still functioning and I'm planning to sell my house anyway. (Many other reviews also mentioned that they like to recommend people installing a new cesspool) So please think through it before you decide to hire this company. If you only need them to pump the cesspool, there will probably be no problem but once they tell you that they need additional service, be extra careful if you don't want to be regret like me now!! The lady said I should talk to the owner directly and I thought she would give me the owner's phone number but then she hang up on me and now I'm still waiting for the call. Not sure how they will address this issue yet. I will keep posted if anything changes.

This company cares. The initial tech who came to aerate the system and identify the issue could not get a good read from outside. So came inside and took the cap off the main pipe and did not charge for that service. In addition, he spent time to make sure I was asking for the correct service. The other technician came and pumped and then followed up on the initial technicians diagnoses. Great people from the office to the workers.

They are professional , courteous and very knowledgable about their business. I would definitely use them again if the need arises

Professional and Knowledgeable

Cesspool Pros provided prompt, courteous communication throughout process. Their team arrived at our home on time as communicated, determined issue was minor in nature and remedied inexpensively; Our cover risers were never aligned properly over the septic tank opening and dirt finally gave way leaving a small hole clear into the tank. The Cesspool Pro Team realigned the risers to remedy. Cesspool Team made some recommendations to make it easier to service overflow tank. We hired them to service our septic tank, overflow tank and install a cover riser on the overflow tank for future preventive maintenance. Definitely recommend this contractor. They provided us with a rapid response, clearly communicated their schedule and exhibited extensive knowledge in their field of expertise.

Quick response. They were unable to locate the cap to my septic tank, so they checked the main and then determined that the issue was a clog and they cleared it up quickly.

Once the company was paid they were done with you. They left the clean-out cap not completely closed. They were upset to come out and fix the clean-out cap. Did not do the work correctly
