It took a bit longer than originally estimated.  The motherboard they were going to put in was faulty.  The owner decided to use some different components, including motherboard for the same price quoted to me.  I was very pleased with the service,  I went to them because I found some good reviews on Angie's list and then a friend recommended them too.  My previous computer, bought from Best Buy, had several issues with it within the first 18 months.  It took Geek Squad  about 2-3 days to diagnose problem each time and anywhere from 2 weeks to over a month for repairs. It was taken to them on 3 separate occasions, all under warranty.  Once, they wanted me to pay for the repair and they could do it in-house in about 3 days instead of sending it out (which took a month though I was told a few weeks) and fully covered under warranty.   I am very pleased  Batavia Computer Center and was able to deal with a local business.

I called them and the owner Jay said to bring it in and I was lucky enough to get it back in 24 hours. They do not usually promise this to customers...I guess I just got lucky. I highly recommend this business for all of your computer service related needs. Jay  is the only person I would ever take my computer to for service! It was raining when I picked up my  computer and they wrapped it up in a plastic bag so it wouldn't get wet. There is a comfortable seating lounge where you can wait and they have computers and laptops among other things for sale at Batavia Computer.  They also do upgrades to your existing system which I plan to do shortly.

The people there are always friendly, polite, and the price is always reasonable. They are also always knowledgeable and know what they are talking about.
