Septic System - Install or Replace
Don't make the same mistake I did in hiring Michael Koshgarian and Michael Koshgarian Family Builders and Excavators. I hired them to put in a new septic system and not only did it fail once but twice and I had to sue them. If you have to sue them, do not go through mediation take him to court. I went through mediation and gave him a year to finish paying me, $2,500 and he defaulted on it. I'm still waiting from 12/1/2023 for the rest of the amount. Just save yourself time, aggravation and money and hire a different company.

Excavation - Major Grading or Resloping
We had an emergency sewer line replacement and Michael was there right away and put in extra time to make sure everything was done right. He helped coordinate the various moving pieces and made sure the plumbers did exactly what needed to be done and got the job done as quickly as possible so our household could get up and running again.

Gravel or Loose Fill Paving - Install, Spread or Scrape
We had an old tar and chip driveway with ruts and holes. Mike leveled all and put down a mix of gravel and dust. He took care of some drainage issues as well. He was very communicative - explained everything and considered what we wanted. Itâ s all working beautifully.

I got an L-shaped deck in two sections 14 by 32 feet wide and returns behind the house at 10 by 8 feet wide. I can not use the stairs. They do not really know what they are doing, when you put hammer and saw on his hand he does not know what he is doing. At least the crew knew better but they were not able to complete it, they never knew enough to finish each part. 9 months later and it still does not pass the inspection. We learned he actually asked people/his crew to give him a good review and he never worked for them. Anyone who would like to contact me to talk about the deck or see the improper work he has done, feel free! I would rate them a zero!

"Paul was a very difficult customer to deal with. He wanted a number of things that he did not pay for and expected them to be installed for free. such as he wanted a $700 custom made metal rail system put on the stairs, which was not agreed-upon in the contract. A treated lumber rail was put up and he didn?t like it. He did whatever he could to sabotage any inspections that were done and when he realized the deck was going to pass inspection he wouldn?t let us on the property to finish one small thing the inspector asked us to do to pass the decks final inspection. Very difficult person to work for."
