"No service was performed! No one stole your money you gave a $200 deposit which gets mailed back to you in a check which was mailed back to you. What is $200 covering please let me know? Not even the fuel in a skid-steer. And no you didn’t explain you digging your property down 12” inches below grade when your paper clearly stated 4-6 inches. We waited on your sidewalks to get finished till you contacted us and had rain to which changes our schedule. My husband also explained to you now that you also expanded all the sidewalks which also wasn’t discussed our equipment was far too large and would damage all the new work you had installed ontop of wanting your landscaper to boss my husband around that day because he installed your new sidewalks. Sorry not happening. When you tell a whole story tell the truth! As far as other company’s being booked up a year is a crock of crap because were all out doing estimates still for this year. As far as calling people trash over your temper tantrum says more about you then us. You cant expect to have people loose their profit when you decide to change things beyond what was explained before hand or damage your property. We havent been in business with all great reviews for many many years by being theifs n trash. Things happen in life when it dont work out. My husband was a gentleman and explained it to you that morning sorry your too angry to be a civil person."
"As we appreciate your business and review, we do have to to disagree with your version of the job description. At the time of the estimate you signed a contract for the paving immediately and wanted to move forward with the paving project and gave your deposit. I explain the warranty of the contract and paving schedule would be when we are in your area and weather depending is a big factor. Spring was not in our favor at all April and May rained terribly making scheduling paving difficult, but we did you get you paved in the requested time frame you had wished. As for the Sealcoating it does not extend your warranty that would have been written on the contract that you had signed. Sealcoating is optional and not forced upon anyone. You have the right to say no thank you. We give our customers the option between a latex sealer and a oil based sealer of course their is a price difference. Just like there is a difference between the price of hamburger and steak. Their is a difference in quality of the products. You were offered your choice of the products or none at all at your choice. Sealcoating your driveway makes it protected for 2-3 years per our company’s recommendation based on the traffic of your driveway, Not once was it discussed that it changes your warranty to 3 years. As for our warranty we stand behind our product 100% we are a reputable paving company who’s been in business in the capital district for many years and our customers no where we live and operate our business. We pride ourself on standing out. We did make a mistake about the deposit of $100.00 not being recognized in the invoice and immediately hand delivered a check to you as we are 100% honest company. As our office being unorganized is untrue, at all times we came promptly, answered questions accurately and in a professional way. We do appreciate you as a customer even if our opinions may differ that will not change your warranty of the driveway installed because our business and what we stand for is most important and we have not got where we are today by not being a reputable business and reputable people who proudly run it."
They extended the job to fix another driveway. What would've happened if I had not called for help, I'm not sure.
The only thing I disagreed with was price went up from the quote I had last year, and when they did the work, they ended up charging me more. The price of asphalt had gone up and it sounded right. Then the next day in the newspaper, our town supervisor said they were going to re-build several roads this year because the price of asphalt was the lowest it's been in four years. I don't think the price was as good as I thought it was going to be. For the amount of work I got done, they said they were only charging for the asphalt for the rest of it. We checked the price of asphalt, confronted them about overcharging us for asphalt, and he said they had to make something on the work, but that was okay. They did do a good job.
