Called and left a message to get an estimate on a tree to either be saved or cut down and two dead trees to be cut down. Did not hear back for at least 5 days. Surprised when he did call....no apology for not getting back to me. Came out to take a look at the tree and immediately told us it could not be saved and should be cut down. We were very upset but understood the decision. He was not professional at all and very abrupt. We still made arrangements for him to remove the tree. He said they would probably do it before Memorial Day. That day came and went and, though it was very rainy and we understood the delay, we did not hear from him at all after that. By this time, we decided to not have the tree cut down. I called to let him know that and also let him know we still wanted the 2 other trees cut down and to let us know when he could come. Never heard from him again. We went on to hire someone else. Very unprofessional!

Contacted them by Angie's list email - got no response. Made appointment for an estimate by phone. Very pleasant on phone. However, they didn't show up, didn't return my phone call afterwards. Update: I just received an apologetic call - they had suffered a family medical emergency and let the business slide for a while. I'm impressed that they took the time to call to apologize. I've amended my review, and would reconsider giving them another chance.

I went with them on a referral. They provided excellent customer service. They did what we wanted them to do and cleaned up after themselves.
