Sales people were busy due to recent snowstorm and COVID complications with industry production. Waited my turn in the Charlton store for next available sales rep who was polite and efficient. He located the Ariens unit I wanted on their shipment allotment and facilitated the purchase in short order with delivery in early January. Got a call when expected that the unit was ready and took delivery within several days. They also removed by 37 year old unit for scrap.

The snowblower works like new.

I had a 23 year old riding lawn tractor with perpetually flat ties, and the mower was stalling in the backyard during mowing. Emerich's came out and picked up the tractor, put 4 new tubes in my tires, changed the battery, and sharpened the blade. I had asked them about the headlight that no longer worked, and they gave me an honest answer that it wasn't an easy fix, and was due to old electrical wires, and that unless I planned on mowing at night, it wouldn't be worth fixing. I couldn't appreciate their honesty, and professionalism more. I recommend them to everyone, and will never go anywhere else again for repairs. Great company!

They were very honest about the repairs that it needed and even advised me on the repairs that were my " choice " to repair, but wouldn't affect the ability of the tractor to do it's job. Great service. Wonderful staff- would HIGHLY recommend.

This review has been a long time coming. I just simply didn't have the time or memory to do this until now.
I dealt with Ray Tyluki. Nice guy, respectful, courteous, knowledgeable.
I bought a BX2660. He sold it to me ... there were glitches in the sale. Ray made SUPER GOOD ... parts were discussed that weren't delivered with the sale ... he HAND DELIVERED THEM to my house once they came in on order ... he did all the paperwork for me ... all I did was sign on the line .. prices he gave me were $2,500 less than a competitive local Kubota dealer. tractor was delivered on time, for free ... no charge .. the wrong mowing deck was delivered .. it was taken back with the trailer, and ray again delivered the proper deck for free .. to my house .. for free once it came in ..
I can honestly say it was a pure pleasure to deal with ray and emerich sales .. I would steer everyone here any time all day long ..

They are a company that everyone goes to. They do basic repair for lawn movers and they sell them too. They also do tractors and stuff like that. They did a good job.

I brought my Poulon ChainSaw there for service. Told me there would be a min. charge of $40.00 for an estimate. I asked that they call me before doing any work. They said they would call me before they started. A week or so went by and I received a call telling me that my saw was done. Never gave the estimate. I was told the tyotal was $135.00 which I thought was expensive. The saw itself cost me $225.00. When I came in to pick it up I asked what they did for that amount of money. They changed the chain, spark plug, and the air filter. Cleaned the saw. On the bill it said that the plastic cover of the chain had a crack in it and to and quot;KEEP AN EYE ON ITand quot;. For that kind of money I would have expected that part replaced and the saw be in perfect order.
I took the saw home and used it for about 5 pieces of wood when the and quot;NEWand quot; chain went extremely dull. I had to go down to the ACE hardware store and purchase a new one, then the chainsaw worked a WHOLE better. Over all I will never go back there again.

Looking to buy a snow blower. When I went to my local tractor store I could find anyone to talk to me. Two guys past me real fast and didn't take the time to ask if I needed help. So I went back home and looked for another Toro dealer. To my surprise they had just opened the new store in South Glens Falls less than a mile from my house. Called them, asked about the blower and went over and bought it. The first one wouldn't start due to some problem having to do with it coming from another store and may have been used as a demo, not sure. I guess there was some bad fuel in it. They switched out a new one, and I was on my way, it runs fine. They were very helpful and I am glad they moved up here.

Finished doing 4 driveways in the 1/12/11 storm about 4 PM and the unit started leaking gasoline badly in our garage. Dragged it outside and called Emerich's. Even at that hour, with almost all employees gone for the day, Mary asked Kevin if he would pick it up. He did, the service manager called Saturday with the diagnosis and estimate and the repaired unit was delivered 1/17/11 in good order. They bailed me out of a bad situation quickly which I consider to be over-the-top service. We purchased this snowblower from them and also our mower, have used them for service since we moved to Charlton in 1976. Great local outfit that cares for its customers!
