It took five days and a number of phone calls but dryer is working great now. The price was very reasonable.

He repaired the dryer.  A part was broken and he replaced it.  Was prompt and courteous.

Have used Bob in the past to do repairs.  Does a great job.  Will definitely use/recommend him.

We called Bob because the previous homeowners used him and his sticker was on the washer.  We ignored the bad reviews on Angie's list because they were superficial.  We are glad we did.
Bob showed up on time, was plenty communicative, with a phone call the day of estimating time of arrival.  He was punctual. 
He had the part on his truck, and gave me all the information I needed to decide whether to fix or replace my washing machine.  There was no sales job, just honesty and professionalism.
Bob is a very pleasant and funny guy who takes pride in his work and enjoys serving his customers.  He's been in business for almost 40 years. 

He was able to quickly get the part to fix my dryer. They were fast and efficient.  They were really good.

What can I say?!  Bob is the best.!  He's always there when I need him.  He has repaired a dishwasher, a stove and a refridgerator and now he saved me a fortune by fixing my dryer.   He has been in business forever and its so nice to have an expert that one can trust and who is so reasonably priced.  The Best!

Overall it went very well. Bob was on time, he did the work quickly and he showed us what to do to prevent dishwasher and disposal problems.
1.    Get a  reference from someone you trust. I think this is especiallly important with plumbers unless the consumer one knows enough about the problem and plumbing. The consumer must have trust in order not to be cheated.
2. Use Angies list or check with the local complaint bureau to see if there are any complaints about the vendor. We did not do it in this case but we have in other cases.

Repair went great, I have used Bob for Major Appliance repair for over 20 years.  Never had a problem, and this time was no exception.  This time the dish washer soap dispenser was broken.  Also had a non-pressing need on the cloths dryer that was fixed while we cycled the dishwasher.

He is excellent.  I have had my refrigerator and stove since I have been in this house for 25 years and I only use him.  His service call is a little under $50 or around $50.  I had to use somebody else once and they were much higher than him.  At the place I bought my refrigerator from and I made a comment saying that I use my own man and they asked me who I used and   I told them and they said everybody talks about him.  I can rely on him coming and he is good.  He handles the problem and takes care of it.  He is very efficient and very knowledgeable.  He is an older gentleman and he really knows his stuff and has been in business for years.  He is also competent and like the older repair men that can be trusted.  He is the best.

We've been using Bob's services for years because he keeps our major appliances running in tip-top shape. First he took apart our Maytag dishwasher to see why the propellers weren't working and found that they were completely clogged with paper (probably from labels on dishes). I was relieved that it was not a major repair. Next, he listened to the funny noise our clothes dryer was making to make sure it was alright. He quickly took it apart and found the belts and rotors were severely worn, which would have caused our dryer to stop completely. Then he went on to our upright freezer. He spent a long time with it and eventually found that it was an electrical problem, not one with the freezer. Most people would have walked away by then and told us to find an electrician, but not Bob. He checked out the circuits breakers but they were all fine and on. (He even took the time to take apart the circuit-breaker box.) He even brought out his electric meter to try to determine which plug had the short in it. After spending some major time on this, he was sorry that the electrical work was beyond him, so he hooked up the freezer to another electric line so it would work while we got an electrician. If Bob can't fix it, no one can--but in this case it wasn't his fault. At least now I know to direct the electrician to the area that has the problem. This gentleman is the best there is in the business. He is the old-fashioned type of repairman who is proud of what he does and works to make sure the customer is getting his moneys worth from the appliance as well as his services. Every time I think he's impressed me he does something else above-and-beyond what's expected of him. Today he did that--but he will probably surprise me again by willing to accomplish the impossible.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. THEY ARE HONEST AND I DON'T THINK THAT PEOPLE TODAY ARE HONEST, IT IS VERY HARD TO FIND HONEST PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY FOR SENIOR CITIZENS LIKE ME. I HAVE BEEN WITH THEM FOR TWELVE YEARS AND IF WASN'T SATISFIED I WOULD HAVE CHANGED A LONG TIME AGO. THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL.
