I found this vender on Angie's List under a different name. It was highly recommended so I set up a service call. They came the same day. The plumber who came was very friendly and professional. However, without even looking at the unit he started in on how I needed a new Water Heater. I explained I really would like him to look at it and see if it was an easy fix. I was pretty sure what I needed. He came back a few minutes later and said - "it doesn't look good, looks as if you're going to need a new unit." I asked him to check the Thermal Coupler (which should have been the FIRST thing he checked.) I explained I did not have the budget to put in a new unit at this time but that I did want a new 'on-demand' water heater in the near future. He brightened up at that and said "let me take another look." He came back a few minutes later telling me he had replaced the thermal coupler and everything was working just fine. "Someone will call you about an estimate for the new system."
Online, the part he replaced costs $4.99. He charged me . 16.11 - more than a 300% markup. Hey, I know everyone needs to make a profit, ok. He was here for a total of 45 minutes (I was teaching an hour lesson at the time, he came after my student had arrived an before my student had left.) When I looked over the bill he had charged me for 1.25 hours of labor - a padding of about 66% over the actual time.
I tried to send an email to the company as identified on their website, but it bounced back as invalid.
Needless to say I am disappointed and will not give them my business again.
