LOU'S CAR CARE CTR

If you live in the Baldwinsvillea area Lou's Car Care is THE place to take your car. We have been doing business with Lou's for about six years now and have never been disappointed. Compared to our previous car service Lou's has saved us money and provided excellent service quality. LAST WEEK LOU'S SAVED THE DAY FOR ME!!! With a trip scedued to Pennsylvania a tire went flat the day before. I called Lou's at 11:30 am and asked if they could look at the tire. A 1:15 pm appointment was set. Upon checking the tire I was advised that it was not repairable. I wasn't surprised since my tires were at life end. When I said I wanted to replace the tires with the same brand and model that came with my Prius I was told they could have them replaced by end of day. They were and I was on my way to PA early the next morning. LOU'S CARE CARE NOT ONLY PROVIDES GREAT AUTOMOBILE SERVICE, THEY UNDERSTAND CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DEMONSTRATE IT EVERY TIME WE TAKE OUR CARS TO THEM!

I called at 11:48 AM and talked with Luigi about an estimate to replace a rear wiper motor on a Subaru Forester. He told me that they were getting ready to go to lunch and he would call back after lunch with the estimate (Not very good customer service).

At 3:27 PM after not hearing from Luigi, I called back to get the estimate. After being placed on hold for 5 minutes, Luigi answered the phone and said that he was still working on the estimate and would call me back in a few minutes. REALLY !

Well, it is now 8:40 PM and I have not heard from Luigi. (EXTERMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS POINT).

To put this experience in perspective, I contacted 3 other service centers for the same information and was called back within 15 minutes to 1 hour with an estimate. If this is how the average customer is handled with just getting an estimate, I don't want to experience what it's like to actually be a customer.

I will not have my car serviced here because of this experience.

The survey asked for the address where service work was performed. I checked went to providers location because there was not an option for someone who just called in for service information.

They're just very professional and very quick. They went thru everything and explained me what exactly happen to cause it to break down and how to prevent it from happening in the future. I felt like I got the value for my money.

It went well.

They were very good. I thought they were very responsive. They explained everything. They referred me back to the dealer because the problem that I was having was with the pouring oil out of the exhaust and it should be covered by the manufacturer. I was very happy with the service I received.

The most recent visit to Lou's was for diagnosis and repair of the BMW. Had the car towed there by AAA since it refused to start while out shopping. Family run Lou's has been our go to service guys on all our vehicles, foreign and domestic, for many years. They are polite, helpful and knowledgeable. They keep us informed of progress via phone, always provide estimates and will do only what you want to have done. No pressure and I feel better that they alert us to potential problems with the vehicles. So the BMW needed a new starter and they took care of it. On time and within the estimate. I never feel I have to be at the shop during their open hours either as other drop off and pickup arrangements can be made. They also have body shop and detailing services.

Lou's Care Care sells used cars as well as providing total vehicle maintenance. I purchased a 2005 ford Taurus with 53,000 miles on it for my daughter who's entering grad school. It was really a pleasure dealing with Luigi Cannata. He's very professional and we quickly reached a mutually acceptable price.Having done so, we then scheduled the delivery date to our mutual satisfaction. A few weeks after delivery the check engine light came on. Lou's Car Care determined it was a "CAM sensor" and replaced it under warranty. It's my daughter's first car and she found the LCC people very nice to work with. After the CAM sensor was replaced Lou's service manager, Randy, took the time to give my daughter a short tutorial on what to do when the check engine light comes on. In total a great experience buying a car from Lou's Car Care. I have already recommended this company to people I know.
