I would not recommend this company to my worse enemy. I had my exterior painted not quite 3 years ago. I have called the owner 4 times to come out & look at the pealing all over the home. He hasn't returned any my calls in over 3 weeks. So much for the 5 yr warranty that i was quoted. This is cedar siding that in the past had to be repainted every 7-10 years. I didn't complain when his worker dumped a can paint of paint on the roof tiles. I hadn't noticed till he was paid in full. Bushes & flowers trampled. Worst company I ever hired to paint my home.

The crew showed up on time and worked hard all day. They were easy to talk to and good at cleaning up every day. They were also patient for the little things I asked them to go over. Overall it was a good experience. They exterior of the house looks great. They had good recommendations throughout the entire process, from getting to quote to finishing the work.

I cannot say enough good things about this company! This is the 1st time we used them. We had them paint the exterior of our house, replace some rotted cedar siding, caulk holes after old gutters were removed, paint gutters and our shed. Chris, the owner, came to our house to give us an estimate. He was extremely professional and offered some great ideas that the other contractors hadn’t. His bid was fair for the amount of work involved. The entire crew was very polite, hardworking, and very neat! They showed up early, and worked a full day. Very accessible and great communication with Chris and Dustin, the foreman. This is definitely the only painting company I will ever use in the future!!!

They painted my son's living room and bedroom. At first glance the job they did looked ok. But after leaving we noticed areas that should have been painted that were unpainted and areas where the paint was not covering at all. There were areas where two coats should have been used where only one was used. They also used the wrong type of paint on the walls. They prefer to use flat apparently, but that's not what was asked for. There were also spots where the color used on the trim was on the walls (tiny specks). An awful job. The bedroom was so bad that it needed to be repainted. These guys might be better served on sticking to painting the outside of houses and not the inside.

All contacts were professionally and personally handled.  I would recommend their service to friends looking for exterior paint work.

Everything turned out great! We are very happy with the results! This is actually our second time of doing business with Decorative Touch Painting. About 2 yrs ago they painted the entire exterior of our house. It is a 1950's style cape cod that has old aluminum siding. The color was faded & dirty in areas that we couldn't get clean. Chris from Decorative Touch Painting came to our home and gave us a variety of samples for color choice. He also was helpful with suggestions. We selected a medium spruce color. They scheduled our project & their crew showed up on time for our appointment. They were very efficient & courteous. A very hardworking group that went full-steam ahead & completed the project in one day! They covered everything meticulously before beginning the job. They even took extra care to cover up around my flower beds that were very close to the house. The painting results looked amazing! It really gave the house a brand new look! We received many compliments about how nice it looked & what a professional job they did! This time we contacted Decorative Touch Painting because we recently had our back porch area enclosed and remodeled. This new addition to the house, had basic white siding on the exterior. We needed to have the exterior painted to match the rest of the house. Of course we contacted Chris from Decorative Touch once again. He was very responsive & came over to our house shortly after our phone call to discuss what we needed. He assured us that he would be able to match their previously used paint color. True to his word, they ordered our paint and scheduled our appointment. They showed up for the job as planned, on time & ready to go. Because it was such a small section of house they were able to complete the job in just a few hours. This included Chris coming back a second time later in the day, for a recommended second coat of paint. This company is great to do business with! They are local (easy to reach), very professional (do a great job!), courteous staff (very good customer service!) I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a high quality paint job!

Chris and his team at Decorative Touch painting were excellent!   They arrived on time and worked throughout the day.  Our home ended up being a bit more difficult to paint due to the condition of the cedar siding but Chris held to his quote,  The guys did their absolute best to make our house look as good as it possibly could.  My personal opinion was that the house looked great!  But Chris sets the bar high and was upset that it didn't look even better.  They used all the techniques including hand brushing, spraying, whatever needed to complete the job.   I will definitely use Decorative Touch in the future.

I have high expectation for contractors I hire.  Some would call me fussy.  I would prefer to say "I expect value from my money". I DEFINATELY GOT MY MONEY'S WORTH FROM DECORATIVE TOUCH PAINTER'S

First I should say that I have had problems with exterior house painters in the past. Ever time I have employed them over the last twenty years.  They  were Slow, hard to reach, messy, h****** plants, sloppy paint drippings and just shoddy work.

Second, I was skeptical of spray painting.

Decorative Touch painting exceed my expectation in all areas.  There workmanship was EXCELLENT.  Spraying was definitely the way to go.  The foreman was on top of all issues.  Workman were pleasant to have around.   I would happily recommend them to anyone and I certainly will use them in the future. 

Quote/contract included all areas to be prepared as needed including sanding, priming, patching, caulking ect...
Walls were suppose to get 2 complete coats (kitchen only got 1 and in some places NONE!
However...Most of the trim was never sanded at all. Fireplace and stairway railing were not sanded and just painted over previously stained wood so new paint just peeled off with finger nail, horrible job. Bathroom was never caulked or nail holes filled or painted on brand new trim and also said they would have powder room completed first so I could have faux painter come but they only did 1 coat and I painted the 2nd coat myself!! Also quote was for eggshell in bath & laundry room but was done in flat. Ceiling in kitchen is ridiculous. I was told that it would be touched up after cabinets & recessed lighting were installed so on the last day Chris Porter said he did it but never did. There are so many runs everywhere and also paint brush bristles painted into the trim & brush strokes going every which way, cut lines and caulking are the sloppiest work imaginable.
I ended up sanding off the sloppy paint job they did and they were not happy and tried to get away with only repainting the majority of the trim with 1 coat. The new sheet rock is already cracked!!! The stairway looks worse than when they started.
They did not cover the floors and got paint everywhere all around the door jams and where the trim meets the brand new hardwood floor much of which will not come off. They left 1/2 full cans of soda, open chocolate (I have dogs) open cans of paint, and trash everywhere. We addressed the situation over and over and he finally sent someone new (Jason) to finish the job and his work was very good, unfortunately we didn't have him from the beginning and did not repair any of the previous damage.  I contacted the owner a week ago about the cracking drywall and he told me he was out of town and to contact him next week (shouldn't he be the one to contact me?) but I called him Monday morning... he said he would get back to me and I have yet to hear from him a week later. I will not have him back, I am having the repairs done by a professional. Very dissappointed!

The owners Tom and son, Chris, met with me and we thoroughly assessed what needed to be done. Repair work was required on the deck before painting. They provided me with a name of an excellent carpenter. Everything went perfectly, no problems. No stress. I even had a bird's nest with eggs located in the area that required painting. Jason, the supervisor on the job, took special care not to disturb the nest. I couldn't be happier. Thank you so much Tom and Chris for the great job. I'll call you during the winter months for interior work.

Crew was excellent and made sure I inspected all work being performed. They were careful and considerate with property and belongings. Very Satisfied with all facets of the job.

The two painters arrived on time, they were very professional and nice. They got to work and worked hard all day. they stopped for lunch but ate at my house, so they didn't take alot of time. They did a great job and finished early. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

I did have them come over this spring to give me a price to stain and paint the outside of my townhouse, but they never sent me a quote, that is the only problem I had with them.

These guys are good, professional and it seemed like they were painting their own house.

Perfect, showed up on the day promised on time, finished in One day and cleaned everything like it was there's ... Even when I had a question about some holes they filled in hall they came right back over and re-did them...

Home has aluminum siding and was completely power washed prior to starting. Primer was next applied and finally the paint was sprayed. I had previously installed new windows and doors, so everything was masked prior to painting. The entire job took 3-4 days and came out beautiful.

Job was completed in just one day - I was told it would be 3 days, but more men were added to the job and they did it all in one day!
Very good job; haven't found any mistakes at all. Walls and ceilings are covered evenly and thoroughly. Edges are perfect.
Very clean. Covered floors and furniture, picked up and cleaned up completely.
Very polite, friendly, and professional.
Will use them again when we are ready to do the bedrooms!

You couldn't find a more professional group of painters. They painted like they were doing their own house. All painters are pawns to the weather as far as scheduling, but there was hardly any delay from the original promised date. When they arrived it was amazing how quickly and professionally they performed the excellent job. The painters were friendly and answered all my questions.
You can't go wrong with this crew.
