"Let's start out and state a fact that in no way way whatsoever was the family in this home left unprotected. That will be explained shortly in more detail . However ..this other Electrician obviously did not look far enough into the wiring of the house back to the circuit breaker . Very interesting .. yet we are sorry you feel the need to justify your actions of avoiding payment . Your comments are totally inaccurate and somewhat comical . 1) The problem WAS fixed as you told me over phone it was & said payment was on its way "for weeks" . Although the contractor does not get paid from AL for the deal purchased , It was NEVER said that Angie's never paid . Service call charge began (which I had called you and explained to you on the phone and YOU gave me approval to move forward ) once I had started to troubleshoot the issue and continued working therefore ending up being and charge for 125$ for labor and parts. The 39$ was for us to show up and tell you what we needed to do to try to fix issue .. apologies for the wording of the deal confusing you as this deal has been confusing for a small % of customers . The deal is created by Angie's List . The price of 125$ was /is completely reasonable . 2) The den circuit in discussion (which was on same circuit as outside outlet on deck being discussed) was on an Arc Fault GFCI circuit breaker which indeed protects you the same as an GFCI outlet . From past experiences having a GFCI outlet on with a combo breaker can sometimes cause the issue that you were having . Let it be noted that we at JCDA work hand in hand with inspectors and it ALSO clearly says in NEC code that this is 100% in line with code. I offered to talk to the Electrician you supposedly had come in to change what I had done but ofcourse you ignored that as you ignored payment . 3) JCDA workers have never even seen you nor spoke to or seen anyone in your family . To make it seem like something remotely along this lines had ever happen is insanity . Nothing even close to "threatening" or " bullying" happened and it's pretty upsetting /sad you would even try to make out to seem like that .Honestly...you should be embarassed by lying and making this up . Feel free to post the text of our convo to show these accusations . But it's pretty obvious what you're attempting here MR [Member Name Removed] 4) If you call trying to get paid after 3 months & making mentions of it cyber bullying then that's a new one . 5) You did NOT deactivate your alarm to let me in as there were other people working in the house already . Something else you've clearly made up. It was clear to us that after 3 months of no payments without explanation that this was an attempt to skip out on payment . I can sometimes understand an issue like this being from just a miscommunication but we were told over the phone that the issue was indeed fixed but still not received payment . JCDA recommends no contractors use Mr [Member Name Removed] as he was deceiving and is obviously dishonest by not stating facts but acting on obvious attempt to effect JCDA's A ratings as anyone can clearly see .. we have NEVER had an issue like he claims with anyone else. Our company is 75% word of mouth and have been doing work through LI and NYC FOR YEARS . Every now and then we run into someone like MR [Member Name Removed] . It's unfortunate part of doing business with so many people . Although this was a headache experience and JCDA was taken advantage of , we wish nothing but the best for Mr [Member Name Removed] ,and hope he changes & refrains from his unscrupulous ways as this clearly should've never happen , payment should've been made or better communication on his part . Have a good day . To be fair ...Perhaps Angie's List needs to have the ability for contractors to review customers to warn of potential issues as well."
