ENZO SECOLO MARBLE TILE & TERRAZZO INC

I found Enzo Secolo in the NYC Verizon Yellow Pages. I had hired a contractor to renovate my 2 bathrooms and he left before the job was completed. I then had to find someone to clean and seal the marble floors, walls and vanity tops. The first person I hired claimed to be an "expert" but didn't know what she was going and left a a greasy film on everything. I called several other people from Angies list who said they wouldn't complete another contractor's job so I was left to look in the yellow pages. I called a few names and got some quotes. Enzo's quote was the most reasonable and he said he had been in the business since he was 14 and had trained with his father and grandfather. When I told him about the problem I had, he was very reassuring saying he didn't think that the marble had been permanently damaged. I called him on a Monday and he was free the following Wed. so I took a chance and hired him. He said he would be there at 9:30 am and he came a little earlier. He came with a helper and looked at the walls and floors and said the person who had done the job really didn't know what she was doing. She had over-sealed the marble which had left streaks and an oily residue that couldn't be buffed off. He also said the product she used was very cheap and not what professionals use, just something you can get at Home Depot. He did one square to show me how it could be cleaned and shined and I was happy with the results. I asked him how long it would take to do the whole job and he said they would probably be finished by about 1pm. They finished a little after one and my bathrooms look very good. He had to clean off the residue and then polish the walls and floor. I was very pleased with the job and he was very nice to deal with. He charged me the same amount he had quoted on the phone. I would highly recommend him for cleaning and polishing marble.
