"I had the old style popcorn finish on my ceiling for years and hated it. When pieces started to crumble off and land on my dining room table I decided it was time to get a new ceiling. Joe Jimenez of Artistic Drywall was honest enough to persuade me to leave the ceiling and put sheetrock over it. This saved me a tremendous amount of money for demolition and dumpster. Money other companies would be happy to take from me, I’m sure. He used long screws to secure the new boards. I had Joe do the job because he had recently sheet rocked my daughter and son-in laws garage. The garage was done to perfection. Joe and Jack (his helper), are not only perfectionist they are professionals. I felt so comfortable with them both that I had no reservations about leaving them alone in my home. They are very trustworthy, which goes a long way if you ask me. I have no idea if the price I paid is the going rate because I didn’t bother to price around….I knew I wanted the job done by Artistic Drywall. One last note, every worker I’ve had come into the house since the ceiling and spackling, complimented Joe’s workmanship. "Called and gave a scope of the work and was given a quote which I accepted. The guys showed up at exactly 8am as promised. Placed tarps in the work area and out to the front door. Proceeded to do the work removing old stairs and framing out the ceiling. Installed new stairs in place. Kept me appraised as to their progress. Completed the job on time. Cleaned up the work area. "Brian Brill the owner of Pride Painting & Spackling and his partner Louis and their crew Julio and Steve worked very hard, they were neat, courteous and timely. My husband and I had a wonderful experience and are so pleased with their professionalism and work. Brian taught his men how to paint a perfect straight line by hand without using any tape or device. Since my walls are uneven they knew exactly how to make the lines perfect.
They painted two coats on our ceiling and walls and speckled before they painted. They did all the doors inside and out and around the frames. The ceiling had two coats as well. They were very neat and cleaned up during and after the job.
We commented to Brian that he should also add to his talents his keen eye for decorating. He recommended to do an accent wall. He showed me some colors and I agreed with him on a beautiful shade of medium brown to go with our manchester tan. It looks amazing. Perfect job!!
They moved and put back our furniture. Took off nails and then fixed the holes. They were so neat and clean. They didn't rush and took so much time on all that they were doing. They take great pride in their work. I have to hand it to them and applaud them on the beautiful painting and workmanship.
Brian and Louis came back the next day to see if there were anything else that we needed and if we had any concerns. They wanted to make sure the job was perfect and it was. Brian even told us that if we find anything at all that they missed they would come back and fix it right away.
