Clearwater Construction was the subcontractor on my window installation from Home Depot Home Services. I'd never spoken with them before they showed up on the scheduled day ... but they were on time, friendly, and got to work immediately. The installation was for three basement "hopper" windows, three full size windows in the walk-out basement, and a full size door .... all in the foundation. The old windows were steel and probably original to the house (1956), and were rusted completely shut and installed into the concrete. The first one came out and went in fairly easily. All of the rest of them they ran into struggles with ... the walls weren't square, the demolition was difficult because of the concrete, etc. However, they maintained a very positive attitude and worked hard. They worked a full 12 hours, and even at the end there was a strong attention to detail. You never know what you're going to get when you get subcontractors like this, but I am completely impressed with the quality of the work that was done. The installation looks great and Kenny and Jack were a pleasure to be around. I will definitely look to them for any finish carpentry work in the future, including a back porch and new exterior door in the back in the spring....
