Work was started on 7/2/12 and still is uncompleted. As i had to work and could not be on site while the work was being done i would come home everynight to a mess.  i know that there would be things torned up and i have had similiar work done before by different contractor but not like this.  They had no regard for my property at all.  We had a side Trex deck that they had to go over to get to the work in the corner and they did not try to protect that deck at all. They ran things over it, dragged the bucket from the back hoe across it.  I have scrapes and digs out of half the boards. They just throw their garbage on the lawn which was totally unneccesary as they walk right past the garbage cans going in and out of the backyard. They made ruts all over the yard which i understand would happen with a backhoe but they have not even attempted to fix any of them. My husband has been working on these ruts trying to smooth them out and put top soil down with grass seed. The sitting wall around the fountain area is not level, the pavers they put down are not level or straight. Some of the stone steps onto the wood deck and the sitting wall around the fountain are not pluged down.  This could be a safety hazard, especially the steps if someone was going down them and the block tipped. They had work on site yet to finish but have completely left and started another job.  When i asked what was going on i was told that he was waiting to hear from me on what i wanted to do about the stone on the pillars as we were not happy with the way that looked. i told him we had not made a decision on what to do about the pillars yet but there was other work to be done on the site and they were far from finished so i don't understand why no one was on site doing any work. They built the pergola and stained it with all the rough burrs sticking out the side of the boards.  These should have been sanded off before they were stained - you look up and see all these burrs sticking out it looks terrible. i have asked 5 times now where my sunshade is for the pergola and have yet received any answer. This job is not completed and it has been going on for longer than it should have.  My neighbors tell me that the workers would show up in the morning work for a few hours and then leave before lunch and return around 3.  I had the same experience when i first stayed home when the job was started and i kept having to text his office on where everyone was. They would start and then disappear for hours.  We have had similiar work like this done before and we have never run into such problems.  The other company was in and out in a week.  This job was larger but it still should have been finished in at least 3 weeks tops as the pergola was suppose to be built off site before the project started.  I'm almost at 2 months now waiting for this to be completed.  I gave them till this Friday 8/24/12 to get this job completed and here it is Thrusday and they still have not returned.I'm sorry but i would not recommend this company to anyone.I had just contacted the company making the sun shade for the pergola and found out that it has not even been made yet!
