Our old back door had been damaged after being soaked from an ice dam during the infamous winter of 2010. (It still functioned, but it looked really bad.). When we decided to replace it, we went to Lowe's and Home Depot and were overwhelmed with all the measurements and details they kept asking for, even after we decided on the door we wanted. So we decided to call John and ask him to order what we needed and install it. He came over, measured everything and called a few weeks later to say that our door was in. We had to wait a couple of weeks for him to complete another job he was working on, but then he came over and installed it within a day and a half. Watching John work is watching a meticulous craftsman. He measures everything carefully, handles the materials gently, and isn't satisfied until everything fits perfectly. He works efficiently, but takes the time to do things right. He also cleans up completely when he's done. He's quiet, but very pleasant and professional. We're very pleased with our new door and will definitely contine to call John for any future remodeling projects we have.
