UPDATE: Considerations...the chemicals used to clean the roof will kill your grass. The gutter downspout areas are dead...the areas along the roof line are dead. The contractor did minimize this problem with collection bags at the downspouts. I am sure it could have been a lot worse but it is unsightly. In march when there is very little grass growth it was not recognizable. Now...a whole different story. Perhaps this is best done in late fall...not sure. Roof looks a whole lot better than it did before the cleaning though.
