The job went very well. Whenever a small issue came up, George always had a solution. He was honest, reliable and professional. I wish we had used him on earlier jobs and I would definitely use him again

I had engaged Kitchen Magic to reface my kitchen cabinets. During the course of this project, they gave me an estimate to replace my counters with Corian. The agent suggested I could and quot;get the super to handle the plumbing, and quot; which Kitchen Magic didn't provide.
When I spoke to the Super, he suggested I talk to and quot;George, who does a lot of work in the building.and quot; I figured anyone the Super recommended would have a good relationship with the building management, which in NYC, is half the task.
George came the next week and I outlined the scope of the work. Kitchen Magic had done a beautiful job with the refacing, including adding a new cabinet to an open space and raising the cabinet above my refrigerator, which allowed me to buy a larger, counter-depth fridge. I described that I didn't want to rip up the existing tile floor, rather just lay some Pergo over it and reuse the existing threshholds. I was to purchase the flooring, sink and faucet, and select the granite from a provider in Long Island City.
The estimate for the whole job was $5500 (Kitchen Magic wanted $4900 for the counter tops alone). My additional expenses were $200 for the flooring and $300 each for the sink and faucet.
They installed the floor the following week. The appliances had been moved by building personnel. Minos even pulled out the sink based and installed flooring under it. They replaced the threshholds and finished the job with new baseboards and matching shoe molding.
Two weeks later, they measured for granite on a Friday and installed it the next Thursday. George arranged with the building management to do the necessary plumbing, so I was able to avoid charges for an outside contractor. After the plumbing had been reattached, we noticed that the granite hadn't been accurately around an electrical outlet. Minos returned the next day to make the correction. The entire project was completed within the month of May.
I've previously renovated three kitchens, one in NYC, and this is the best experience I've ever had with a contractor, based on price, quality of work, responsiveness and attitude.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. IT REALLY WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE ALL THE WAY AROUND. THEY STAYED WITHIN THE ESTIMATED PRICE AND GOT EVERYTHING DONE BY THE AGREED UPON DEADLINE.
