JGC was great. Also, they've been around for a long time in Astoria. I expected the repair to end up costing more than a thousand dollars (I had braced myself for a $2,000). They came in and did the work promptly. They had to tear up part the bathroom to access the toilet drain, but they did the job and reinstalled everything very well. They charged about $800, which I was more than happy to pay! They were fast and professional and we are very happy with their services.
Of course, like all plumbers, they didn't fix the holes they made. But that is to be expected. JGC did say they could arrange for somebody to come and fix the plaster and the bathroom tile. But have a good person to do that, so we arranged that ourselves (it cost $200).
