Metal Fabrication and Restoration, Wrought Iron Service
I have a wrought iron chair that needs to be repaired. Since I knew the area around his business very well I decided to take the chair to him for an estimate. I informed him that I found him on Angie's List, but he denied that he was on the list and any affiliation with Angie's List. He gave me an estimate of $400 for one chair (the entire dining set cost $400). He was very unprofessional. I would not recommend him.

Absolutely phenomenal work. We had old faucets that were chipping brass plating that we wanted to match with our new bathroom faucets (brushed nickel). We finally found Empire Metal Finishing Inc in Astoria New York. We couldn't believe it when we got them back as if brand new and in the highest quality. Their work is so professional they made a guest appearance on Martha Stewart's show. It's not cheap but if you want to refinish old stuff that could be discontinued product and not replaceable this is definitely the place to go. If interested to see further, they have a video which shows the entire process of refinishing. I would send my metal to Empire again and again.
