After being contacted by them to view a property for sale in Astoria, I made a FULL asking price offer on the property with 40% down. The next day I was contact by Yvonne who said that the owners did not accept my offer because the current tenants did not like me when I went to see the property. I thought that was extremely strange and offered to speak with the owner to assure her that I was a good person, like a fool I even took references from previous tenants I had been a landlord for. Still she said the owner did not want to sell to me. Fast forward a few months and I run into the super of the property and he tells me the property was still under contract and did not close. I found that so strange since I had already purchased another place! I then asked him why the tenants said they didn't like me and not want me to purchase the place. The super could not believe his ears. He is a family friend of the owner and said no one ever said such a thing! Turns out these deceitful brokers, Yvonne Anzolone & Joseph Casella DID NOT PRESENT MY OFFER TO THE OWNERS!!!! I was furious!! I can only make a few assumptions. Either the people they did present the offer for offered them cash to push their offer through or they thought the other buyers had a better chance of making the deal go through. Either way they are deceitful and not to be trusted. They didn't even do right by their client (the sellers of the property), because by having 2 full price offers they could've gotten more money for the seller, but they dit not do that either. Stay far away from these two.
