I hired Jason at Casa Interiors to make a wall unit for my MBR. He showed up with a designer and we worked out a design. I gave him a 50% deposit on a $10,000 unit and signed an elaborate contract with the timing of payments and delivery date. During my waiting time I also hired him to do closet doors in my daughters room. His charge was $1500for the doors and I gave him an additional 50% deposit, (I could not understand why they cost so much). I proceeded anyway because I was already working with him. The bedroom unit came in 2 months late and I decided at that point that I did not want to spend so much and wait so long for the additional doors. He said he would return the money. That was over 6 months ago and he at first promised to return it and for the past 4 months does not answer his phone. The designer who worked for him and was my liaison left the company 5 months ago. It has been poor experience and I am still out the money and will have to go to small claims count.
Description of Work: The company was hired to make a custom wood bedroom unit for $10,000 and custom closet doors for $1500.
